Protea Hotel Dar es Salaam Courtyard

All is good.

Quiet hotel. Nice neighborhood to walk. Excellent breakfast and service. Restaurant options nearby. Room was nice but had a small shower leak and some mosquitoes.

Most welcoming staff and management, providing exceptional service. Room was great regularly sprayed for mosquitoes to get a peaceful sleep , the food was amazing and Wi-Fi was good I was able to continue working from my room and also stay in contact with my family back home.

I was there for a business meeting in June 2023, and it was worth staying at Protea Dar. The linen was really clean, fluffy pillows and rooms were clean and comfortable. We held our one week meeting in one of the conference rooms, all was well and the set up was nice, well equipped and spacious. Very good WIFI connectivity. The staff is what makes this little hotel, its exceptional. From GM to lower level workers, you feel very special. Best customer service experience ever. I give them the very top marks given my experience and traveling history in the eastern and southern Africa. Staff is very polite, friendly and professional. The food is ever fresh and on point, very scrumptious, thanks to Chef John. I can recommend it anytime.

Protea Marriot was a wonderful place to stay. It was very clean. The bed was comfortable. I loved the beautiful colored glass lamps and light fixtures. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The transport driver was so kind and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant. It was amazing. The food and service was excellent. I would definitely stay there again. Thanks Protea Marriot for a wonderful stay.
