Excellent hotel with super service. Staff not very friendly

Fantastic hotel for a ski getaway Our trip was marked with outstanding service not only at hotel but at the local ski school. We also had a great time in St Moritz Ecco as well so many things too ok do and learn in a new country. We will definitely come again. It was just a short plane trip from Paris.

This was my second stay at the Seehof and it surpassed my expectations once more. Another great stay and skiing holiday. I wouldn't normally single out individuals as all the staff were great but I would like to commend Carlos (the waiter) who consistently offered exceptional service, displaying professionalism, attentiveness, and a friendly demeanour that greatly enhanced my dining experience. Truly an asset to the Seehof Hotel. Please pass on my best wishes to Carlos.

The hotel is in a superb location for skiing considering the walk to the lift is literally 30 seconds. It is fair to say that the hotel is in the heart of Davos Dorf which is the calm and quiet side of Davos. For the lively part and the good after-ski places you have to take a bus for 10 mins to Davos Platz. The spa of the hotel is nice and the rooms are decent size. The only complaint is probably the service. Staff are friendly but the service is very inefficient and slow. For example, if you order off the menu for breakfast (like an omelette) be prepared to wait an inappropriate time or even not get your order.

Excelente hotel en Davos Dorf: el hotel está muy bien situado (a 50 metros del remonte a la zona de ski P****nn-Kloester), habituaciones muy espaciosas - incluso conectadas para familias de 4-6 miembros, muy buena zona de SPA (si bien en planta sótano sin vistas), buena restauración (variado desayuno buffet y a la carta y 4-menú para la cena con variedad cada día). Sin duda para repetir la próxima vez que vengamos a Davos

This hotel was a huge letdown. They tout themselves as a 5-star establishment, but that's laughable. The food at the dinner restaurant was atrocious and inedible. For instance, they served fish that reeked of fish liver oil, and no one in our group could stomach it. Some of the other dishes seemed to have been made the day before. Moreover, some of the rooms we booked were not cleaned, and when we requested cleaning, they claimed to be short-staffed. The receptionists were generally unwelcoming and unhelpful, except for Marina, who was very pleasant. A few of the waiters at the restaurant were also kind. However, it was hard not to feel sorry for them when the kitchen staff served up such terrible food and the waiters had to deal with complaints from all the guests.

Tolles 5-Stern Hotel, extrem zentrale Lage. Äusserst freundliches Personal, sehr hilfsbereit. Schöne, gemütliche Lobby mit Cheminée, Tiefgarage. Das Hotel hat eine lange, interessante Geschichte. Könige und Präsidenten haben hier übernachtet, die Fotogalerie hat kein Ende.

Wie schon in anderen Bewerbungen zu sehen, ist das Hotel wirklich keine 5 Sterne wert. Sauberkeit und Atmosphäre waren gut und schön, jedoch hat leider das Personal und das Essen alles Gute in den Schatten gestellt. Mit Deutsch kommt man in einem Schweizer 5 Sterne Hotel nicht durch. Das Personal in der Gastronomie kann nur Englisch, was uns schon sehr wunderte. Wäre das Personal effizient, aufmerksam und zuvorkommend, könnte man über die sprachliche Differenz hinwegsehen aber so war es leider überhaupt nicht. Wir hatten Halb Pension und somit war unser Menü gesetzt. Das Essen war geschmacklich gut aber die Anrichtung war wirklich schlecht. Die Teller wurden Stunden vor dem Servieren angerichtet, was zur Folge hatte, dass die Produkte bereits vertrocknet auf den Tellern ankamen und das Rindstartar leider nicht mehr schön rot sondern grau-bräunlich war. Die Parkplätze in der Tiefgarage kosten übrigens CHF 30.- pro Nacht, was ich zu viel finde. Ein nächstes Mal gibt es leider nicht mehr da Preis/Leistung nicht gestimmt hat.
