Check in was quick and employee was friendly. The stay was relatively quiet except for a couple times. Convenient location for what we were in town for and a good price. Certain hallways smelled like ****, the breakfast gave everyone in my family a stomachache, second day the shower water got lukewarm at best.

When we arrived at the hotel the computer system was down so they could not charge my card at the time of check in. The front desk attendant put us in a room that had peeling ceiling paint in the bathroom and the air conditioner did not work. I waited for over 45 mins for them to call me down to run my card. The front desk attendant then said he put us in a “bad room” and moved us to a different room. Once we got to the other room there was open old bags of pop corn shoved behind the night stand. I actually got stuck in the bath room cause the handle did not work. My friend had to call down and have them come up and shove the door open and it’s his shoulder. Before I could even get out of the bathroom he was gone with no apologies for the inconvenience and safety risk of possibly being stuck in the bathroom till housekeeping the next day as I did not have my phone to call for help or what would have happened if I was a lone or with a small child?

Old, cheap, and general facility upkeep is poor. Drywall cracks, leaking shower, shower drain stop didn’t work so you cannot take a bath. Poorly painted and repaired holes in doors and drywall. Broken window frame. Exposed sink plumbing. Pretty sure my sheets did not get changed during my 5 night stay, nor were my soaps and cups replenished the entire stay

Wet towel in the room when I arrived, found a few hairs on unused towels, very visible shoe print on bed sheets. Did not feel very clean

When I returned to Illinois the following day after my stay I Had multiple bites on m forearms and neck

Our main entrance light to our room was dead and The tv wasn't working, so had to call front desk. He was prompt, but still it shouldn't have been like that to begin with. We didn't have a no privacy door knob placer, housekeeping came in and fixed one bed, empty one trash can and put in new towels. They left one bed unfixed (i didn't care but it was odd only one bed was made), the trash can in the main area was full and not empty, and we had half a roll of toilet paper left and they didn't even leave another roll. The swimming pool was out of order and no one told us too until my brother in law was told the heater went out so the pool facility area is cold. I don't think i will ever stay here again unless it was a last resort.

My flight was canceled at the last minute and the hotel would not refund my money or transfer my reservation to a different Best Western at my new departure location. Went on online chat with travelocity, and they tried calling the hotel to see if they would give me a refund and was told no. Travelocity said they had no problem doing the refund, but it was up to the hotel.

This is made at checkout. The checking was easy and only took minutes as it was pre booked. Room was nice, a very large t.v. and very nice walk in shower. Room was warm with control of the thermostat, but bathroom was very cold. Bed was very comfortable and had a good night's sleep. Shower was great, but towels a bit small and only 1 each. Breakfast was the most disappointing part as it was very meager, scrambled eggs and sausage links, no potato option, no oatmeal etc. had DIY pancakes or waffles, not sure. Coffee was good, saw no juice or milk. Did have pre packaged powder sugar donuts and small muffins. Just expected more from a BW Hotel. That said. Would stay again and just get Breakfast down the road.Oh, easy checkout too.

I reviewed the other reviews and noticed there was alot of comments about how dirty the hotel was, I also noticed the hotel had a reason or excuse for every one. The reality is that this is just a dirty hotel and no, it was not busy or they had not "gotten" to it yet. It was clear some of the dried coffee/mud/sticky stains had been on tile for a long time. The bedroom headboards had quite a bit of dust, etc. dirty un vacuumed and unswept halls and elevators, etc. Pool bottom had a lot of sand in it. Listen you get what you pay for. The bed was comfy! Overall, it was what I expected a 2 star hotel to be.
