First time I have stayed there hotel is beautiful and peaceful surroundings. It was a break for me and my wife as my mum passed 10 days ago and we wanted a break.
Nice big room shame no bath, only problem we were near the staff exit and heard noise till late and very early in the morning. I complained to receptionist and we have a discounted rate next time we stay.
Staff all very helpful and friendly.

The hotel itself was lovely and welcoming on arrival. Booked and executive room, photos in website looked stunning but in reality room was fitted looking and disappointing

I did not make it to the property . I had a wedding to attend that started at 12:00 . Travelling from Manchester the ideal scenario was to go and leave my luggage at the hotel earlier and then go to the wedding .
I am aware check in was at 3:00 & the earliest they could sort me out was 1;00pm at an Extra fee
Of 20 £ . That was ok with me.
But I needed to leave my luggage somewhere and the hotel could not offer me that.
So it did not make my journey convinient at all . The rossington hotel next door however catered for my needs and I stayed there for the night .

Rooms are tired and furnishings really don’t look very clean. Day 1, no hot water. Day 2 breakfast was very busy but staff were preventing customers from social distancing, as many tried to, as most of the tables in the brasserie were already laid for afternoon tea, at 9am! I am afraid that any establishment that puts the convenience of its staff over the safety of its customers is not going to get my custom again.
