鄧迪斯特拉斯莫爾大道旅屋飯店(Travelodge Dundee Strathmore Avenue)

Travelled down here after a trip to Aberdeen. Was working in nearby Broughty Ferry. Older hotel and needs some TLC but room was clean, staff were friendly and decent price. Had a beer at the bar on the Tues night.

The building on the outside doesn’t look the best but the friendly staff and comfortable beds make up for this. I added on breakfast in the morning which was a great idea as it was all you can eat with food being hot and cooked regularly. So happy with my stay for a good price and I will be back again.

Me and my family attended the hotel, very friendly staff and extremely clean rooms. Myself my wife and our 2 kids were very satisfied with our breakfast in the morning as there was plenty to choose from. Very over the moon with 2 happy children also. Thank you so much to the staff in strathmore :)

Horrible - could hear everything through the paper thin walls. Light in corridor shone through gap under door all through night. Soap dispensers in bathroom - 1 didn’t work and 1 had soap in that was so watered down it was just unusable. Suggest you bring your own ! When we stayed there it seems that a lot of hotel had been rented out to a building company, so the car park mostly full with vans from early evening until early morning so parking could be a problem. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all, and wouldn’t book here again. Best to pay a bit more.

Located just outside the city centre, easily accessible by bus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. I would definitely use this hotel again on any trips to Dundee.

Clean and spacious hotel rooms. It also has free parking and is close to the City Centre. The outside of the building can be modernised and they can be more generous with supplies, but enjoyed my stay nevertheless.

Wonderful stay, great hospitality during our stay with an eye on customer service at all times throughout. Bathroom was nice and shower was hot and quite powerful. Bedroom was basic but nice and clean. Breakfast was hot on both mornings of our stay and the staff were always welcoming in the hotel.

What a fantastic stay, Room was very spacious for the two of us and the bed was so cosy and comfortable. Staff were super lovely when checking out the receptionist ( Angela ) was super polite and helped give us directions into the town centre. Great staff, always on hand to give help and we were never a trouble for them.

Having stayed at many Travelodge hotels, this was not the best example of the Travelodge experience. The room was adequate but poorly cleaned, with threadbare towels and empty cider cans left under the bed. Although I paid for the internet and registered 2 devices, when I tried to reconnect using either one of the devices, it failed to do so, the message being that I had already registered the maximum number of devices !! We paid for breakfast, and although we accepted the fact that fried eggs where not on the menu, my wife was happy to see that Fruit salad was a choice, as this with muesli is her normal breakfast choice, however when we surveyed the breakfast bar in the morning there was no fresh fruit salad. When we asked a member of staff, we were shown a bowl containing unpeeled oranges and curtly told that was it. My wife tried the porridge mix provided, but that was awful. The coffee (americano) from the coffee machine was dreadfull and tasteless, no coffee flavour at all. In short the worst breakfast we have ever had, a complete waste of money, in hindsight we should have gone to the local McDonald’s.
