鄧迪斯特拉斯莫爾大道旅屋飯店(Travelodge Dundee Strathmore Avenue)

Travelled down here after a trip to Aberdeen. Was working in nearby Broughty Ferry. Older hotel and needs some TLC but room was clean, staff were friendly and decent price. Had a beer at the bar on the Tues night.

The building on the outside doesn’t look the best but the friendly staff and comfortable beds make up for this. I added on breakfast in the morning which was a great idea as it was all you can eat with food being hot and cooked regularly. So happy with my stay for a good price and I will be back again.

Me and my family attended the hotel, very friendly staff and extremely clean rooms. Myself my wife and our 2 kids were very satisfied with our breakfast in the morning as there was plenty to choose from. Very over the moon with 2 happy children also. Thank you so much to the staff in strathmore :)

Horrible - could hear everything through the paper thin walls. Light in corridor shone through gap under door all through night. Soap dispensers in bathroom - 1 didn’t work and 1 had soap in that was so watered down it was just unusable. Suggest you bring your own ! When we stayed there it seems that a lot of hotel had been rented out to a building company, so the car park mostly full with vans from early evening until early morning so parking could be a problem. Wouldn’t recommend this hotel at all, and wouldn’t book here again. Best to pay a bit more.

Located just outside the city centre, easily accessible by bus. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and well maintained. I would definitely use this hotel again on any trips to Dundee.

Clean and spacious hotel rooms. It also has free parking and is close to the City Centre. The outside of the building can be modernised and they can be more generous with supplies, but enjoyed my stay nevertheless.

We stay at a lot of travelodge as up and down the country, and this was one of the cheapest we have stayed in but other than the outside, we think it is good value for money. Our room was clean, had a desk snd 2 chairs, enough room to hang some of our clothes up on the railing. Tv was a bit small but this was still watchable. Would recommend to stay here if you were looking to book some place while on a budget.

What a wonderful stay we had. Had a few nights away from our children which we do not get that often. The hotel was Nicely placed that we were able to jump on a bus and get into the Center of the town quite quickly. We got offered to add on breakfast but we weren't sure about it so left it but when we came down to the Reception area in the morning we decided to purchase the breakfast and wow this was great, with a great wide selection to choose from.

I am from Dundee originally and used to stay not for from this travel lodge so I wanted to stay in the area purely to be close to family. Staff were friendly and accommodating on check-in. The kitchen was closed at 9pm due to unforseen circumstances, I used to work in hospitality and these things happen and can't be helped. My room was as expected from a travel lodge basic and the essentials in place. However having been in "budget" hotel across Europe in the last 10 days which were immaculate and cheaper. I am shocked that room smells like stale cigarettes, 2 main lights not working, towel rail broken and the third floor smell like cigarettes . The shower curtain(yes I said shower curtain) needs changed because it smells awful. Had I not been traveling for the last 14 hours and only staying 1 night I would have been either requesting a refund and looking for something else or change of room. I did not have the brain capacity or energy to complain. Disappointing.
