Small hotel by the sea, with delicious breakfast. Very friendly and helpful staff. There‘s no elevator for the rooms. I recommend a walk to the Seven Sister Cliffs from Seven Sisters Country Park to Eastbourne. Be sure to have a pair of good walking shoes with you.

By a country mile, The Port is the best hotel in Eastbourne, for me. It is also one of my favourites in the whole of the UK. Friendly, professional staff. The whole experience is seamless. the aesthetic is unique and absolutely pitched perfectly. peaceful, beautiful, and highly enjoyable. the bar is stocked and curated to exactly my taste. Location - perfect Parking - easy Menu & kitchen- Excellent.... whoever is on the crew in the kitchen - you are smashing it out of the park consistently - try the lobster roll, essential eating when you are there. The Port is a Belter, if you need to be in Eastbourne - book it, you will not be sorry. Thanks again to the teams for consistently delivering an excellent stay.

We had a joint school friends 40th birthday (9 of us) stay at the Port- we loved it!! Amy and Grace were fantastic and friendly. We ate dinner at the hotel and the a**osphere was v welcoming. They went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable, even the details for table decorations for our meal!! They were really attentive. Beds were super comfy and the decor is really calming and stylish. All in all a wonderful stay thank you guys!

I visited for business and arrived late due to hold up on the M25. The staff were welcoming and friendly when I eventually arrived. I stayed in a very stylish well appointed bedroom, but there were a lot of stairs, not a problem for me but could be for others. Pleasant breakfast.

Lovely hotel with an amazing view of the Eastbourne beach. You are even provided with a pair of binoculars to enjoy further! Stayed for one night to see family with our 3 month old and the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. We had a travel cot ready and waiting with all essentials in a beautifully presented room. We woke up to a lovely breakfast buffet offering cold and cooked options. Great location and can’t wait for a stay in the summer! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a break by the sea!

I booked a two night stay at this hotel in December 2023 as I was in Eastbourne for work purposes. It is one of the most expensive hotels in the area but doesn't provide anything more than any other hotel. I asked for a vegetarian breakfast and was told by the manager Damien that they only had bacon, sausages and scrambled egg. I asked if they could do vegetarian sausages or just baked beans and eggs and was told they couldn't do this and weren't willing to respect my dietary requirements when I had paid for a full breakfast. I was check-in by someone called Sev who had a very unfriendly attitude. There was only one other guest staying at the hotel at the time and I was given a room on the third floor with no lift. I asked if I could have a room nearer the ground floor, only to be told that I had to pay extra for this! Both the manager and checking in staff member were uncooperative and unreasonable, which made my staff there very stressful. Luckily, a neighbouring hotel offered me a vegetarian breakfast so I had something to eat before a long days work.
