施拉夫邁勒特勞恩旅館(Schlafmeile Traunsee)

Beautiful setting and a cute town in the heart of the Austrian Alps Lake District. The breakfast was great with many selections. Parking is a bit of a problem with limited space for unloading only near the hotel. Highly recommend this location for easy access to Bad Ischl and Hallstättersee without the crowds.

Wie schon öfter hier zu lesen ist - Image und Realität passen nicht ganz zusammen. Der Web- und Social Media Auftritt lässt etwas anderes vermuten, als man vorfindet. Das Hotel ist klein und sehr verwinkelt. Vor dem Haus sind 2 Parkplätze zum Ein- und Ausladen, der Parkplatz selbst ist etwas weiter weg und die Plätze dort reichen leider nicht für alle Gäste. Glücklich ist, wer einen Platz ergattert (den man sich mit Kunden von Apotheke und Sportgeschäft teilt). Das Zimmer mit Balkon war fein und geräumig, modern eingerichtet, das Bett recht neu und wir haben gut geschlafen. Es war vor allem schön ruhig. Im Bad ist alles etwas älter und riecht ein bisserl unangenehm (die überall aufgestellten Duftsteine helfen nur bedingt). Beim Frühstück wurde ständig nachgefüllt, das Personal war sehr freundlich und engagiert. Die Auswahl ist ok, man wird satt. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt oder Zwischenstopp ist das Hotel trotz allem gut geeignet. Im Arbeitszeugnis würde stehen "sie haben sich sehr bemüht".

Location-wise not bad. We chose Family Studio with Balcony or Terrace. We were 3 in number and there were 2 separate rooms with one bed each. No restaurant and unmanned hotel. It seemed that the hotel owner is not interested to talk when needed. We called the owner to know about the restaurant facilities but he could not explain it very well. may be he was expecting us to speak German. But our German skill is not so good. The hotel is over priced.

I booked an apar**ent for five people (this apar**ent can fit up to 12 people) for 2 nights. I then received an email that the number of guests is one. That was weird because the minimum number of guests for the apar**ent is five as you can see in the attached photo. Upon arrival after hours at around 6 PM, there was no one at the check-in desk. Our key was placed at the check-in desk and our last name was written next to the room number. That room had two twin beds stuck to each other. It was tiny and very different than the apar**ent that I booked online using ***********. I tried calling the number that they had and when I did I heard a vibration of a cell phone at the check-in desk. I tried contacting *********** and they recommended I speak to the property directly and when I stated that I couldn't get a hold of them they asked me to email *********** and that they would get a response to me in 24 hours. Eventually they did respond saying that the property has been contacted but they did not hear anything back from them, so basically *********** was useless. In the meantime, I had to go next-door to ask for help. The lady next-door called one of the housekeeping ladies who then came down and tried helping us. She then called the man who came and gave us the apar**ent. That man did not even smile or apologize to us. The apar**ent was decent, and spacious, however the beds were too soft. It had a nice terrace. There were two bathrooms in the apar**ents one was a good size and the other was tiny. There is no air conditioner, as many other hotels in Europe. There is no elevator the stairs leading up to the apar**ents are pretty steep. The breakfast was decent. Parking is offsite and there's about a five minute walk. The town is small but pretty. Overall the stay was pleasant, however the check in experience and the incorrect room and no one at the check-in desk was very unpleasant. At check out, there was another lady who seems to be more involved and had a smile on her face and apologized for the experience we had.

This is an adequate hotel with amenable staff. Be aware that there is NO elevator so be prepared to climb 3 flights of stairs. I would not recommend this for anyone with any sort of mobility issue. The designated parking area was full. They dis allow us to stay on the parking spot in front of the building but since there were signs everywhere saying this was not allowed, we were a little concerned. The room was sp**** but reasonably clean. Great view out the window. One thing they need to change is put glasses or cups in the rooms. Nothing to use to drink water or brush teethe. Also, no toiletries, so plan accordingly. All-in-all, the hotel is fine, but nothing to get excited about.

Bei Ankunft niemand in Rezeption, aber Schlüssel lag bereit. Hat gut funktioniert. Parkplatz praktisch keiner bzw 2 kleine zum Entladen vorhanden, aber praktisch komplett verparkt bzw keine Möglichkeit in 2. Spur nur auszuladen vorhanden, beschriebener Parkplatz in der Nacht schwer auffindbar, bei Handy hat niemand abgehoben noch zurück gerufen. Zimmer sehr schön, sehr sauber, gute Matratzr8wn, gut geschlafen. Frühstück sehr gut, sehr freundlich. Achtung! Kein Lift Aufenthalt mit Hunden war vom Hotel aus kein Problem, allerdings im näheren Umkreis nur Straße zum Gassi gehen. Tolles Marketing bei der Lage des Hotels

The breakfast was top rate, very nicely decorated area, the food was all fresh and tasty. Well done hospitality. THe room was a bit cold, but i realize it was first week of cool weather, and maybe furnace wasn't at full steam yet. But the staff was friendly, the town is very picturesque, i would surely go back to this place.

the prop is in a poor location, 5 min unpacking infront only. 6 prkg spacs 3 blocks away and always full, no prop reception after 5 pm, dirty shower, shabby furnishing w. scratches and holes, no per night price listed on door as is required in austria by law, good breakfast, friendly server in breakfast room, mountain view is 2 old roofs and dist. hills, cert. not a hotel looks like a shabbily redone arbnb.. listing very misleading.
