埃爾卡洪聖地亞哥東戴斯飯店(Days Inn by Wyndham San Diego-East/El Cajon)

I found the room clean and my request for a ground floor room was met. Other than some renovation work being done, I enjoyed my stay.

Very unfriendly stuff

I do not like that there is no security staff . I talked to a clerk at 12 midnight on June 17 to ask for me to talk to security and she said there is no Security guard because I had a concern of certain men who followed me including two guys in motorcycles . The motorcyclists kept on circling around the property with a loud noise of their motorcycles to harass me so i couldn’t sleep. The men and two motorcyclists were around the property while my companions and I checked in the hotel . They also left after we left . I felt unsafe without security. Then disappointed that the hair dryer is not working snd so I slept very late because I had to wait until my hair dried . I took a shower at 12:30 a.m. on June 18 . The shower was not so hot at night on June 16, 2023 but became hot only at night on June 17, 2923 & the toilet paper holder broke . The front desk clerk on June 18, 2023 was very discourteous , had a pouting face when I said that there was no more hot water for me to make instant coffee. The hotel offered instant coffee and so when I asked the woman clerk , she pushed the thermos that had the regular coffee but I told her I did not want the regular coffee . I wanted the Taster’s choice instant coffee and instead of apologizing, she told me in an angry tone that it will take 30 minutes to boil water and I said then she should have checked the thermos if there was still hot water or not so of it was empty then she should have boiled water before it ran out . Not friendly

Did not really feel safe here. They have a posted sign - no visitors to room after 9pm which makes me wonder why it has to be posted. Breakfast was…. Basically nothing. We we arrived there was very little food available.

Very disappointed. Picked this hotel based on its grade, but afterwards felt that grade was very inflated. A couple of electrical outlets were out of the wall. There was no hot water in the morning shower (not even lukewarm - cold!!). Pillows weren't good. TV remote didn't work well. When I checked in they in effect put me on hold while they took a call. Very rough area with several homeless camped out front, poor parking lot lighting and 5 guys were hanging right outside our room smoking.

Check in was easy. Room is a bit sp****. Bathroom was large but “wet” because floor of shower is even with floor of bathroom. Bed was comfortable but needs a “full pillow”. Evening was quiet and area is close to food etc. probably wouldn’t stay again. This is good for a quick overnight but lacks the comfort factor.

It was a very good hotel for me.. I was there to visit my grandma and my uncles who they live about 2 miles from this hotel.. we had a wedding and the church and hall also close to the hotel

Room was very clean, bathroom just the right size. This will be our go to Hotel when in El Cajon. Very conveniently located, lots of food choices nearby. Staff nice, check in was easy.
