Gute Lage in Rüttenscheid. Durch die Renovierung ist es sehr hyggelig. Sehr gelungen.

Tolle Zimmer, Service sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Das Frühstück reichhaltig vom Müsli bis Obstsalat alles vorhanden. Frisch zubereitete Waffeln tolle Idee. Wir buchen beim nächsten Essen Besuch sofort wieder dieses zentral gelegene Hotel mit seinen Annehmlichkeiten wieder.

Hotel ist ist sehr gut! Zimmer (Einzelzimmer) war sehr sehr sauber. Bett war sehr bequem und die dafür gesehene Kissen ebenfalls. Ich hatte zwei verschiedene, Kissen und beide waren für mich wie angegossen. Saubere Bettbezüge und sehr gemütliches Bett. Ich habe darauf schlafen können wir in einem Luxusstempel, obwohl Einzelzimmer war. Bad war sehr sauber und die Handtücher haben auch gut gerochen und waren ebenfalls sauber. Auch der Fußzimmerboden war sauber und nicht staubig. Großer TV Flachbildschirm den man umschwenken konnte. Tolles TV Bild. Frühstück war fürs Preis-Leistung sehr ausreichend. Preis war super! 👌 Dieses Hotel werde ich mir speichern. Wenn ich das nächste Mal wieder in Essen sein sollte, werde ich sicherlich dieses Hotel noch einmal buchen. Ps. Ich bin was Sauberkeit angeht, sehr penibel.. Dieses Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen! 👏

The receptionist that checked me in should not be working as a receptionist at any hotel. She couldn't get off her phone (speaking with friends) and couldn't be bothered with checking in a customer. We had a silly dispute about a bathtub. I asked if I could be allocated a room with a bathtub, to which she said "This hotel has no bathtubs." When I went to the room, there was a bathtub... The other big problem (which others have commented about) was that the breakfast had nothing on offer. In fact, the personnel refused to re-stock the breakfast. I arrived at 9am (breakfast served until 11am). There was nearly nothing left. Not even any bread. When I asked the staff to replenish, they simply couldn't be bothered. At the end, I had everything I needed, but other guests were simply bewildered at what was happening. Even though the eggs were burnt, they were quite tasty. While the hotel is in general perfectly clean, the floor of my room was not. The floor was soiled with old soda/juice. Surprising, as everything else was spotless. I also found it strange that a hotel at this level (without a minibar) should leave a bottle of water in the room with a €4 price tag on it.
