菲爾維海茨麗怡飯店(Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Fairview Heights, IL)

Even though the pictures online look lovely, when we checked in to our first room the room was very dirty. The sheets and bedspread were very dirty. Gross. There was hair on the floor, and food crumbs on the bench. Disgusting. It was like the room had not been cleaned- just beds made. This is unacceptable. We were switched to a different room. Cleaner, however the bedspreads and carpet had stains all over them and the bathtub had a rusty spot and didn’t look clean as well and the tub drain just completely out. I don’t think this hotel does a very good job of maintaining the property.

The employee at the check-in desk was rude. The customer service was terrible!The rooms we were given was not ready at check-in time and the other room I was given had stains on the carpet read the bedding. The breakfast they offered was not good and the dining area was not that clean. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone! I should've read the reviews before booking the room.

The front desk clerk said he could not find my reservation, nor my brother’s reservation. and he said there were no rooms available. I said I had a confirmation thru *******, but he couldn’t find it. I didn’t get to stay!

When we checked in at around 830pm. Ther was no record of having a reservation from *******. I gave the clerk the confirmation number but he couldnt find the reservation. We were able to get a room, but my concern is if we book thru ******* and get somewhere and they dont have the reservation we will be out of luck. I dont know if this was *******s problem or the hotel. My other concern is if we will get billed twice. Ill will checkmy credit card and follow up. Thank you. I would love to get a human response if possible.

Overall good place to stay but bathtub/shower needs to be updated and the room smelled musty mildewed from the air conditioning. Room was clean and staff was very nice.

Family time - pool was too cold; even for the children. Unsettling evening/early morning with police presence for hours. Tried to use the iron and it was scorched. The drawers to the dresser would not close.

Staff were very friendly and the rooms were very nice for the price. Of note, there is little sound proofing for the rooms. The location has significant traffic noise, which is a constant detractor, and you can hear everything that happens in the hallway.

I killed one roach in the room, who knows how many I missed. Front Desk couldn’t have cared less, told me it was just a stink bug. It’s no wonder there were roaches since the room was filthy and the floor had food all over it. This is a run-down stinker of a place. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The breakfast area was absolutely gross. Open bag of garbage leaking all over the floor with a wet mop right next to it, left right where you get food and eat. Woman came to clean the floor, and made even a bigger mess and left the open bag of trash. We will not be staying here again.
