We read the reviews about Navaria Heights and there is a lot of truth in all of them. Yes it is up a steep climb. Yes there are a lot of mosquitos Yes the bed wasn’t the most comfortable. But…it’s how you look at it that makes the difference. We embraced the climb and it is do-able. We enjoyed that it was making us fit. We wore bug spray. No big deal. We have to do that where we live in summer also. We still managed to sleep even though the bed wasn’t great. We didn’t go to Fiji to sleep, we went to explore and scuba dive and snorkel. Other positives - The views were amazing! The staff were beautiful, friendly, accommodating, attentive and welcoming. The dinner, which you can ask for, was plentiful and delicious and they accommodated dietary needs. If you love animals, Zues the dog, is friendly and you can take him for a walk around the mountain top. He knows the way! The place does need a bit of love but it is what you make it. The rooms would benefit from some local Information in them and also what dinners were available. We enjoyed our stay and had a positive experience there.

Amazing staff and property! Felt like home. Only a handful of rooms. Felt like we had our own private chef. Food is delicious and highly recommend ordering their meals. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Grounds are meticulously kept up. It's a steep driveway, but the views are incredible and worth it. Wish we could've stayed longer. Highly highly recommend.

Wow and more wow! We absolutely loved our stay at Naveria Heights! Sharon and her entire staff are simply lovely. The actual views blow the incredible photos away, it's literally one of the most spectacular locations we have ever experienced in our decades of travel. All that said, this is the perfect spot for many (like us!), but not everyone. Things to know: this is a home stay. If you find that personable and authentic, you are in for a treat. If you prefer hotels or a resort, this is not that. We loved the remoteness, and the 15 minute steep walk up the 4x4 road was a great way to work off dinner and earn the view! If steep walks are not your thing or physically inaccessible to you, this may be a barrier. Sharon hosts wonderful outdoor activities and loves Pickleball ... if you are looking for an authentic Fijian stay and planning to get outdoors and chase after a little adventure, this is an ideal and rare find!

We absolutely loved our two night stay in Savusavu. We also think that it is almost impossible to beat their included breakfast on the terrace. Sharon and her staff were lovely and treated us so nicely. We can warmly recommend to stay here for a couple of nights. It‘s very wonderful.

I just left the little paradise at Naveria Heights. Sharon and her team made my stay absolut great. From breakfast to dinner; from tours to massage everything was just amazing. The view you have from the lodge is absolute stunning so that you never want to leave again. Thank you so much Sharon!

Really disappointed with our stay here. We booked it based on the views and the wonderful reviews online, but sadly our experience was nothing like what was described on their website or in the online reviews. The owner was overseas during our stay which is likely the reason for our poor experience, but is not an excuse. We ended up cutting our stay short and moving to a resort at considerable expense The good: the view. It really is as gorgeous as it looks. Our host Sarita was absolutely lovely as well. We went on a big fishing trip and brought back a big mahi mahi which she organised to be cleaned and cooked up into a delicious fish curry. Breakfast was lovely The bad: literally everything else We were promised free airport transfers, and confirmed our flight details several times, but no-one was waiting for us at the airport. We called the accommodation and eventually this taxi turned up, but there was no way this car could ever get up the driveway (more on that later), so further phone calls ensued until a friend/relative of the taxi driver turned up in a 4wd ute, and demanded $50 to take us to the lodge (only a 5min drive away) - highway robbery but we had literally no other option The driveway is absolutely horrendous. They're not kidding when they say it's only accessible by 4wd, and that's a real 4wd with low range gears, and even then the wheels slip. Driving up and down it was bad enough, we also walked down once which was extremely sketchy and not something we ever want to do ever again With the owner away there was no in-house transport, so our only option was so me random local drivers the hosts would call who demanded $20 each way , and seeing as aside from breakfast there's basically nothing to eat or drink (aside from one tap with a filter in the main kitchen) we had no option but to pay this With the owner away there were also no activities available, we asked a few times about organising trips to various places but our host just ignored the question and changed the subject The bugs at this place were next level ridiculous, in 3 nights we went through an entire can of insect repellent and still got eaten alive The room was nicely decorated, but my sleep was terrible. The aircon is super noisy and starts and stops all the time, plus the roof leaked very loudly into a tray in the bathroom, so I didn't get any restful sleep here. There was also no table, only a single chair in the room and only a sun lounge and a really low beam bag to sit on, no TV or basically anything else to do at all, and only coffee and sugar (no milk, tea, or even teaspoons provided). The bed was really uncomfortable, a thin spring mattress in a hard base that I could feel every spring in The pool is tiny (barely chest height deep and at most 3m square) and our swimming clothes stank after using it On our second night the hosts literally locked us into the wing of the house without telling us, meaning no access to drinking water, we'd be stuck in

Bula bula Wow!!! We stayed at the Naveria Heights Lodge for 3 night and we wish we would have stay longer. What a fantastic experience! The Lodge in on a hill over looking the Pacific ocean and the town of Savusavu, the view is spectacular. We stayed in the Queen room which was extremely comfortable, clean, ceiling fan and AC, very high quality linen bed sheet, conforter and towells. Awesome plunge pool with a spacious deck that comes around to a relaxing area to enjoy your healthy breakfast, have romantic moments or even catch up on your computer work or meditate. Amazing Sharon is very attentive to her guests' needs and so knowledgeable about the medicine of the land and nutrition. We love Sharon and Micheal who took us on adventure tours, he is fun and so knowledgeable. Restaurants near by walking distance of 20 minutes. The gravel road to get up the hill is steep and we walked it up and down 3 times per day, great work out. You have an option to take a 4X4 transportation to go up and down for a small fee. There are not enough words for me to truly paint the picture that Naveria Heights deserves. The view is breathtaking Sharon, the owner, is a truly lovely soul who ensures that all her guests have an outstanding stay. Our room was lovely. The bed very comfortable, with excellent air conditioning to make our sleep blissful. Sharon also runs excursions from Naveria Heights Lodge. They were fantastic and well priced. Breakfast is included. Sharon, is a nutritionist and her breakfast are filled with the freshest fruit imaginable, granola, eggs but no meats. I didn't miss it because everything was so tasty and healthy. Great combination. There is definitely a hill to climb part way with a staircase the remainder of the way. It is a 200 foot climb/decent but if you take your time it is easily done if you are in decent shape. If not Michael can transport you for a fee. The same as a taxi from town. This is the longest review I've ever done. I'm writing it because I'm passionate to share an experience. It's not your everyday hotel. It's so much more. My wife and I will return and I hope those who read this review step up and say yes to one of the best experiences you'll have.
