長島凱悅飯店(Hyatt Regency Long Island)

The hotel is somewhere between ok and good. It need some maintenance and TLC. The check-in was quick. The Wifi was really slow and the chair to the desk was so low that it was difficult to sit properly and work at the desk. Asked for another chair a couple of times and was promised to get a new one but no chair came. No possibility to eat lunch at the hotel which was a disappoin**ent being such a large hotel. There is a kiosk to buy some sandwiches and drinks but so overpriced.

Poor service, not very clean, when i called Hyatt corporate i was credited one night back and given a free breakfast . Coffee was cold by the time i got cream Eggs were cold by the time they brought silverware. Hardly anything refilled in breakfast sternos. No bacon until everyone asking was finished eating. Place needs help and a major upgrrade in all accomodations! Carpets floors and wallpaper down hallways coming off walls. Not a quality hotel. Ive seen motel 6 or red roof inns in better condition with higher quality service for way less the cost of Hyatt.

Please read until the end: From the pictures I wasn’t expecting much. We found an international hotel with nice touches -and lightning properly done too-. Could use some upgrades but it holds very well. The common areas are plenty to allow you to not feel locked down on your bedroom during the stay. Couches on the lobby and general sitting areas are abundant. It has a bar and a restaurant too. The indoor pool was fresh with a decent ambient temperature. The gym was ok. The rooms are proper. Fridge but no microwave. One armchair, one desk with chair, two queen beds that felt more like full. Comfortable pillows and nice feeling bedding. Bathroom had a tub, very convenient when you travel with kids. **Toiletries are great** They use Pharmacology brand on big bottles for body wash / shampoo / Conditioner / Body lotion. Great quality and my curly hair looked amazing after the bath. No need to carry bottles and soap while on this hotel. **The property did not included breakfast** It does offer a $25 dollars buffet in the mornings - $15 for children. (6.30 to 10.30am) The buffet is a hit or miss. Abundance of pastries fruits and breads. Cheese board with turkey and ham. Special note for the fruit tray including fresh figs. Yogurt with granola and berries. The bad: for food I wasn’t impressed. Bacon, links, terrible scramble eggs, and potatos that were old and dry. During the weekend there is an omelette station, but the stove keep turning off.

The hotel is extremely dirty, u understand it’s outdated and old but there should be more TLC into the hotel. The locations I believe it fantastic but the inside throws all of that out the window. Definitely need some interior design services in there asap. There was one staff member named Dominique (male, I believe I spelled his name right) he was the only person in that hotel that was professional and took care of my needs. I only slept 1 night and left the next day.. I had 3 nights booked. I was very disappointed.

Hotel exceeded my expectations. Service is exceptional. Rooms are spacious and clean. Quiet quiet quiet! Comfy bed and pillows. Luxurious bathroom. Fast elevators. Plenty of free parking. Convenient location.

This is a beautiful hotel, with gorgeous lobby, nice, clean, spacious rooms and hospitable staff. We’ll definitely stay here again when we are next in town.

Sent to a room which was already occupied. Key card let me in. Very embarrasing situation No access to luggage cart. Had just had a back surgery, no help to room. Will not stay at this Hyatt again.

The staff is so friendly and helpful! Loved our room…only thing i would fix is the loud banging noise outside of our room that kept me up both nights.

Staff were very accommodating and welcoming. Property is run down and not well cleaned. Phones in rooms did not work. TV was spotty on and off. Hotel needs major overhaul.
