Hotel Riviera Fiumicino

I only have 2 stars because the staff was so friendly. Other than that it was very poor. Our room smelled like BO. They obviously knew about this by the $2 air freshener they had in the room. Maybe next time have your rooms professionally cleaned. Next all the televisions in the entire hotel didn’t work all day and night.

This was a perfectly fine 3-star hotel. But I was told the hotel transportation would arrive at the airport at a certain time -- another van arrived, and if I hadn't asked the driver, I would still be standing there! He took me to his hotel, where a second driver took me to the hotel. (The morning trip to the airport was fine.) The hotel is close to the water, which may be fine "in season," but this was the end of the season. The closest restaurant was an outdoor pizza place (quite good pizza), but other food was a long walk away. As expected, the room was small, the shower was VERY small -- for one night, OK, but not recommended for a longer stay. There was a fairly extensive cold breakfast available early in the morning, but it was not made clear that this would be available before my shuttle left, so I missed out.

Its in a residential area, although it is close to the ocean, not close to anything else really. I will say the staff is excellent. Matteo and Damiano were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Especially Damiano. Arranged transportation to Rome for us and made sure it was less than a taxi or Uber.

Great location--convenient for both plane travel after a long Italian trip and for a beach trip. The room itself was tidy but the air conditioner was completed saturated with mold and mildew, when we turned it on the whole room smelled like a moist pond. There were no other accommodations in the hotel for our group. The rooms have not been updated since the mid 80s which would have been fine if we weren't paying a significant amount per night The front desk service was excellent as were the two small restaurants less than half a block away--we recommend them both.

stayed for 2 nights best option if you are flying from Rome. great shuttle service to and from the airport, we took a day and took the train form the airport and spent the day in Rome. located by the public beach great view of sunset. Wonderful staff. Our room was on a smaller side but it was fine.no shopping options but lots of restaurants. Wifi was slow. Over all good for the value.

The front desk staff was so helpful! They answered all of our questions and helped us book a ride to the airport/train, making our first night in a foreign country very easy and comfortable. Nice breakfast and clean rooms. We enjoyed walking on the beach after breakfast.

Its a nice and comfortable place and i would deffinately stay there again. The area around the place is a little littered. Not the hotel property. Thats clean but surrounding blocks could ise some attention

The staff was very helpfull. The rooms are great but the showers are difficult to get in for a larger size person. Wish there was a microwave in the room and an icemaker in the lobby
