甘芭宮飯店(Palazzo Gamba Apartments Al Duomo)

Palazzo Gamba si trova nel cuore più affascinante di Firenze, in un salotto elegantissimo che appare come la naturale continuazione fra l'interno della suite e l'esterno in piazza del Duomo. Le finestre si aprono direttamente sulla piazza fra la facciata di Santa Maria del fiore e il Battistero, una location strepitosa per assistere al tradizionale rito dello "scoppio del carro" che avviene il giorno di Pasqua. Poterlo vedere affacciati dal davanzale è stata una esperienza imparagonabile rispetto ad assistere alla cerimonia nella calca sul marciapiede. Lo staff di Palazzo Gamba ci ha consentito di ospitare dei nostri carissimi amici fiorentini che si sono trattenuti a pranzo nella struttura dopo aver assistito allo "scoppio". Anche per loro è stata una occasione irrinunciabile per ammirare il rito da una posizione privilegiata. Il piccolo appartamento è completo di tutto, la cucina è accessoriata come una cucina di casa, i due piccoli bagni sono due bomboniere, gli alti soffitti affrescati rendono l'Interno della stanza ancora più elegante. Consiglio a chiunque di scegliere Palazzo Gamba per trascorrere qualche giorno a Firenze, sono sicuro che se non avessimo scelto di pernottare qui, il nostro weekend non sarebbe stato altrettanto gradevole. Ringrazio di cuore Sarah per tutto l'aiuto e i consigli per parcheggiare l'auto e le richieste che ha esaudito, e il ragazzo alla reception che domenica mattina ci ha omaggiati con un uovo di cioccolato per festeggiare la Pasqua.

FANTASTICO! Avevamo un appartamento al quinto piano con doppia vista sul Duomo e sul Battistero! Palazzo storico con arredi in stile ma bagni nuovissimi con tutte le dotazioni, tv con Netflix e cucina ben accessoriata compresi caffè, te, acqua e vino gratuiti. La gestione perfetta! Gentilissimi e disponibilissimi ci hanno consentito senza sovrapprezzo di lasciare i bagagli prima del check-in e dopo il check out facendoceli trovare direttamente in camera! La posizione è superlativa!!! Scendi e sei letteralmente in mezzo all’arte e alla storia! A cinque minuti a piedi da tutto! A poche decine di metri da un mini supermercato fornitissimo, da un’ottima agenzia turistica che organizza anche giri con Ebike ( la My Green Tour) e con un sacco di ottimi posti per mangiare ( osteria Cipolla Rossa e osteria Vinaino e Cicalone, schiacciateria Amorini, gelato Badiani ) e caffè ( anche proprio adiacente l’ingresso) per fare colazione! Unico neo, spero che sia stato solo un episodio sporadico, un baretto infimo di fronte al palazzo che dopo le 23, per attirare turisti attaccava la musica a volume altissimo rendendoci difficile addormentarsi anche con i tappi in dotazione delle camere. Comunque assolutamente CONSIGLIATO!

Tutto perfetto, posizione fantastica, personale gentilissimo. Al nostro arrivo ci è stato permesso di lasciare i bagagli nel mentre aspettavamo che l'appartamento fosse pronto. Ci siamo accorti che la macchinetta del caffè non andava e prontamente lo staff ha posto rimedio a questo piccolo inconveniente. Tutto perfetto, ritornerò.

Si te molestan los ruidos para dormir no vayas aquí. Tendrás ruidos de la calle a los que te acostumbras y en algunos apartamentos,ruido de las máquinas de AA de un patio interior, cuya ventana se podría insonorizar. Por lo demás excelente. Situación inmejorable, se vé desde la ventana el Duomo, restaurante y cafetería a pie de calle, incluso un horno de pizzas para llevar a la dcha saliendo estupendo y barato. Es un Palazzo restaurado hace ya unos años pero bien equipado, apartamentos amplios (nos cambiaron al segundo día por ruido de máquinas y conocimos dos), 2 duchas y 2 WC lavabo. Nevera, microondas, lavavajillas, TV, WIFI rápida, 2 dormitorios. Limpieza diaria y cada 3 días ropa y toallas. 1 semana excelente, el personal muy amable, trató de solucionar todas nuestras peticiones y nos ayudó imprimiendonos billetes, informando, facilitando almohadas mas finas, pidiendo taxis, etc etc. Bien por Sara, Antonio y un tercero que además hablaba bien español. Bravo!! Precio razonable (295€ por noche 4 personas)

As my harsh alarm clock rang this morning so I could get up for work – I remembered how gently I awoke while in Florence last week - to the sound of the Duomo church bells while staying at Palazzo Gamba - a magical place. We wanted an apartment that was clean, spacious, safe, air conditioned, close to everything – so we chose Palazzo Gamba based on personal recommendations. From my initial inquiry email – Antonio and Sarah were responsive, caring, informative, and so very easy to work with. What a treat to meet them during our stay there! – since the front door/desk is manned from 7:30am-7pm. There is much to see and do in Florence and the surrounding area. Your residence at Palazzo Gamba is the absolute perfect place to call home each day. If you can – sit on your balcony with a glass of wine, throw open your windows, take-in the sights/sounds/smells that are Florence. Though there is an elevator – walk the stairs to see each of the floors, and imagine what is the history behind this beautiful Palazzo. If you have questions or issues - Antonio and Sarah are there to help and are a wealth of knowledge. The owner of this Palazzo is very lucky to have them on their staff. For us, this was the perfect location as our home-base in Florence for 7 nights. I will most surely return to Florence – and will again stay at Palazzo Gamba - since I did not want to leave. Ottimo appartamento molto spazioso. Ottima posizione e con una vista fantastica. Prezzo molto buono considerato il periodo natalizio. Personale gentile e sempre disponibile. Sicuramente ci ritorneremo.

Terrific location right to the Duomo and the piazza around it, and easy walking distance to many of the main sights. The apartment was spacious, and the kitchen well-equipped so you can hit the local groceries and stock up (Conad recommended, Carrefour also good). Despite our unit being just on the 2nd floor with the piazza down below, it wasn't too noisy at night or the mornings. And fortunately the A/C worked well enough given the 100+ F temperatures Florence was experiencing! Dino and Antonio were great, very helpful in answering questions and taking care of any issues.

We stayed four nights from 7/19 to 7/23 on the 5th floor with a 2 bedroom 2 bath overlooking the Duomo. The unit was spacious and had everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Although the bathrooms are small, it was doable. The biggest advantage of the Palazzo is its incredible central location - right in the heart of everything. The staff, Angela, Sarah and Antonio were amazing. I mostly had contact with Antonio and he was marvelous with handling all our needs. Although we had a small taxi issue upon checkout, Antonio was quick to ensure it was addressed. Highly recommend Palazzo Gamba for families or anyone needing more room with best location. It’s a very charming property.

What an unbelievable and breathtaking view of the Duomo Santa Maria del Fiore! We stayed in the 2bdrm apt suite with balcony with our three kids and it was clean and spacious! The staff were all very friendly and so easy to communicate with. The location can’t be beat as we were central to everything in Florence. We walked to the Piazzele Michaelangelo and Rose gardens on the other side of the Ponte Vecchio. Gorgeous gorgeous views! Would we recommend Palazzo Gamba…100% yes!
