奧林匹克套房旅館(Olympic Suites Inn)

This was a suite unit, separate bedroom, bath, kitchen, and living room, with TVs in both living room and bedroom. Aside from not having my confirmed online reservation immediately on hand, and checking me into an unmade room, the stay was clean, uneventful and quiet. Internet speeds were slow and tv options limited. TV reception in the living room was fuzzy. Exterior door frame was broken, outside stairwells need work, and room number plate is missing (106).

The hotel needs to state on the website that no dishes or silverware are provided. The kitchen is completely empty. I would have happily brought what we needed if I had known. But even worse, the refrigerator and freezer ran constantly but never chilled (suite 203). We were unable to freeze ice packs for our cooler. Internet service is very slow or non-existent, and the DirectTV service equally poor. The bed is old and uncomfortable. No extra blanket or throw provided. The tub is slow to drain. The man who checked us in was unfriendly bordering on hostile. A lot of noise from guests walking around in the upstairs unit. Not their fault, just cheap construction (used to be an apar**ent building.) I had low expectations due to the low price, but this was ridiculous. At least the place was clean.

Enjoyed that there is ample living space which could make it nice for a longer stay, but its full kitchen does not have a single pot, pan, dish, fork so cooking not a doable thing.

There are no elevators, and the stairs are frankly dangerous for carrying luggage up and down. The hair dryer in our room nearly caught fire and filled the bathroom with acrid smoke before it was quickly unplugged. We did report that to staff who promised to replace it.

We delighted in staying here. It was a clean, delightful suite with plenty of space. It also is well worn, which we found as rustic charm. Sitting at the windows and enjoying the view of the various trees was wonderful. If you want everything new, verging on unused, and shiny clean, you will not like this place. We will definitely stay here again.

The day was dreary but the was warm and clean as I arrived, an oasis in the forest, lovely and snug.
