We visited as a family of 4 in April, staying in a 2 bed apartment on the 9th floor. Whilst the lobby area of the Stella Maris is slightly dated, we were really impressed with our room. It had recently been modernised, with new flooring, tiles and furniture. The balcony was a huge L shaped wrap round balcony with absolutely stunning views along the coast towards Torreblanca. There was a decent sized TV in the lounge with 4 English channels (BBC1,2ITV, channel 4) and our 2 daughters were impressed with the Wi-Fi. The rooms were cleaned all but 1 day during our weeks stay and bedding/towels were changed 5 of the seven days we were there. As expected there were plenty of cups,plates,cutlery etc in the kitchen however I would have liked there to have been a drying rack for the washing up. The shower was excellent and very powerful. For us we loved the location, which was right on the edge of Los Boliches so away from some of the hustle and bustle of Fuengirola, however only a 10 minute walk from Fish Alley one direction and only 10 mins from the excellent back streets of Los Boliches (behind hotel Yaramar) the other direction. The restaurant below the hotel was excellent and the couple of meals we had there were really good. The pool,area was small but adequate and a couple of days we hired loungers on the beach directly opposite (13€ for 2 loungers and a brolly). We saved money on a transfer from the airport as we got the train directly from the airport to Los Boliches (approx 3€ each) and from there it was only approx a 10 minute walk from Los Boliches station to Stella Maris. Safe hire was approx €2.50 a day with a refundable €20 deposit. We never suffered from noise from the adjoining rooms, however we didn’t travel in peak season. Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Stella Maris and for the location alone we will definitely be returning. We visited in April 2023 and the weather during our week was very good, ranging from 24-28 degrees.

Studio med havutsikt över Playa Las Boliches, en fin sandstrand. Plus: - bra bemötande och trevlig personal - bästa läge i Fuengirola, solstolar på stranden precis utanför var jättebekväma - fin pool bredvid hotellet med bar/pub intill Minus: - ont om parkering, räkna med att köra runt o vänta på att någon lämnar plats - sängar var lite hård, dock fick vi extra madrasser vilket gjorde det mycket bättre - pubmaten är dålig snabbmat, gå istället till de många matställen på strandpromenaden - snabbmarknad var jättedyrt, gå istället till Mercadona marknad ca 150 m längre bort

Centralt och bra boende nära stranden och lugnt o fint vid poolen. Saknade sittgrupp i lyan och tycker det skulle vara skönt med åtminstone en fåtölj inne . Tråkigt att städerskorna ofta kom sent på eftermiddagen. Trevlig personal. Små hissar.

Estuvimos alojadas una semana en junio, destacar la ubicación, el apartamento en la planta 15, totalmente reformado. Agradecer el rato de la recepcionista, fue encantadora y muy amable. Es un hotel al que hemos ido dos años seguidos y repetiremos seguro.

Fantastiskt läge direkt vid stranden. fin utsikt, Restaurangen ok. Dutch sausage special med pommes rekommenderas varmt. Vi älskar Fuengirola. Tips på bra restauranger: Crispy Cod, Lotus, de la Casa.

Loistava sijainti, hienot näkymät merelle. Perussiisti, perusvarusteet keittiössä,. Todella kulahtaneet huovat peittoina, villakoirat johtui varmaan niistä. Tiskiaineet ja -välineet kun otin kotoa mukaan, pärjäsimme niukan astiaston kanssa. Siivoojaporukka ystävällistä ja avuliasta, tervehtivät. Respassa tunnuttiin ennemminkin pelkäävän, että joku tulee häiritsemään. Minimarket ja itsepalvelupesula kätevästi samassa rakennuksessa. Jokaisessa huoneessa ilmalämpöpumppu.
