The hotel rooms themselves and general areas in the hotel are of an acceptable standard! However the carpets in the hotel corridors leading to the rooms are filthy and stained! Really in an unacceptable state! The swimming pool was also green and murky!

Every aspect of my stay at the Avani was top notch — the room, the facilities, the location and the staff. However, I had serious problems with my itinerary and my upcoming flight schedule when I arrived. While all of the Avani employees were kind and helpful, one stood out with shining stars. Florah who works at the front desk went to extraordinary ends to help me correct my itinerary. I will be forever grateful.

The hospitality was awesome,the food was great even though I was worried at first if i would be able to eat, also the staffs (Boipelo ❤️, Bothle, Minkie, Goabaone and others made the place fun. I really enjoyed my stay. Be sure I would visit again one day.

This is a very safe, central and friendly place to stay for business in Gaborone. There are a lovely welcoming staff everywhere, a wonderful pool , great bakery and barista coffee in the cafe. Ask for a room away from the car park and you will enjoy the lovely gardens and quiet side near the Gaborone golf reserve.

Having stayed in other hotels in Gaborone on various visits, I have discovered the Avani. Loved it - mainly because the facilities are fresh and contemporary, the staff universally polite and attentive and the food great! As a swimmer the pool is sufficient for proper length exercise and relaxing with lovely poolside eating 'booths' with cushions and lounger sofas. All very charming. Also for work the hotel is very conveniently and centrally placed with free shuttle to airport - not far away. I missed out on the spa, which is clearly very popular but was shown around - really lovely, calm environment with lush tree canopy and flowers.

Amazing Place, definitely 5 star rating. Best hotel in Gaborone The ambience is amazing, the coffee is great internet super fast, nice chilling spot by the pool with cabanas . The staff is super friendly & always ready to assist . Great breakfast with lots of different ranges to choose from . All in all amazia

Avani Gaborone gives you a home feeling, it’s cozy and the staff is nice and service oriented. Breakfast is good with things needed. Ask for an omelette by the nice chefs! Rooms are newly renovated, I was there 8-10 years ago too. Pool area is nice. We tried the home made pizzas, very tasty.

I recommend this place for it's location very well situated in Gaborone It's a quiet place with a lot of greenery with a nice swimming pool The staff is very symphatic and the cleanliness of the rooms is perfect

A pleasant restful hotel, where the rooms are nice and the staff are very friendly. Possibly the service could have been a little quicker, but overall it was great. The Avani app is maybe not the best, but I would definitely return again.
