We chose this hotel for its location halfway between relatives and Galway city. It is a fine hotel; clean and safe, but that is about it. The restaurant was good.

The reception staff were helpful. The staff including the waiter in the restaurant were very friendly. However, I had requested a room in a quiet part of the hotel but found out by 10 pm that we were just above where a band was playing. This was dispappointing as the music continued until midnight and we had an early start (7am)

Very nice staff. We had a problem as we book for 5 people but only 2 of us could come. The manager and staff understood our issue and she was very helpful and gave us a very nice commercial offer. Nice place. Great swimming pool and spa area. Very nice and helpful staff.
Perfect stay! I will come back!

The Claregalway Hotel was terrific! The rooms were a very good size for a family, the breakfast had good food my kids actually liked and the staff was extremely helpful! The employee at the pool front desk went out on his own to go pick a wheelchair for my husband. There was no charge and he returned it for us too. This was above and beyond customer service and so very appreciated! I would highly recommend The Claregalway Hotel to those visiting Galway and the surrounding areas.

We were very pleasantly surprised when we arrive to this hotel. It was one of the cheaper options in the area and very nice. It was a convenient location, close to amenities and also sightseeing opportunities.. The hotel room was clean and spacious. Staff was friendly.

Muy mala relación calidad/precio. Estuvimos en varios hoteles durante el viaje y este fue el que más pagamos con diferencia. Aunque la habitación estaba limpia y era my comoda no habia ni jabón para lav**** las manos. Algo que no entendemos como no puede tener un hotel de supuestamente 4 estrellas. El desayuno muy flojo, todo mal presentado, y algo sucio ademàs de poca variedad. Ubicación correcta y con varias ofertas de restaurantes alrededor. Pero no volveriamos.

Property was fine but told as checked in that we’d be able to use the pool despite our later than expected arrival (8p.m.), as that was the reason we booked it following a long hard day, and denied entrance as the door was locked. Also greatly over-billed from what reserved via ******* (5 times the price with additional night booked and incorrect room size) with no compensation for the error that I had to bring up to be corrected before checking out in the early am
