睡帽格雷爾水印飯店(Nightcap at Watermark Glenelg)

This is a motel rather than a hotel. Convenient if one drives. Reception hours are very limited. One has to go to the restaurant to approach the waitress outside of normal office hours. My friends and I occupied 6 rooms - the key cards did not work well and had to be reactivated nearly daily. Not convenient when returning after dinner. Towels were not readily changed even though we left those off the towel racks.

We stayed in the 3 bedroom room. On check-in we found the room hadn't been cleaned but the staff very helpful and gave us a temporary room as we had a baby due for sleep. The room was cleaned and ready for us shortly after.

It was the dirtiest motel i have ever stayed in, got the cleaner back but was pointless. Soap scum and black mould in the shower, ***** on the toilet. Benches not wiped down still food crumbs on bench lounge and floors. Dirty fridge and still had other peoples freezer blocks still in there. The quilt on master bed was stain and dirty. No broom or dust pan to help clean. Floors where not mopped and the grout was filthy. No table or chairs for accommodating upto 6 people. Up side had 18 dinner plates. Down side 2 bowls. Nothing cleaned under or moved. No pride in the presentation of the cuboards or condiments. Beds where presented ok. Will never stay again or return for meals, after the leftover food sits outside for at least 2 days. Chicken bone on the ground near room left there for 4 nights we stayed. Would never have stayed the 4 nights if we could have got other accommodation but being show week had no hope. Very disappointing, but had the potential.

Car park full of restaurants customers, no car park left for people stay in hotel . No staff care about it .. just not right.. even have a big sign on hotel resident only …. But restaurants customers parking all of the car park around 5:30pm … none left for hotel residents

We really appreciated the kitchen amenities- not just frig and microwave but dishes, utensils and and a sink. Perfect fir our needs.

The property was well presented from front to back. The room was also enjoyable and presented extremely well. We were disappointed at being sent away as a result of arriving 30 minutes early. The staff member advised it is strictly 2pm check in and there was nothing that could be done about this. As someone who travels every month for work and regularly for personal reasons this is not something I have encountered before.

Clean, very comfortable bed, true to the ad. Towels could have been better. Parking is very narrow underneath the rooms, but there is ample uncovered parking.

Fantastic stay and meals in the hotel were fantastic, 10 percent discount if staying at Nightcap
