列治文公爵飯店(Duke of Richmond Hotel)

Superbe hôtel typique anglais bien placé dans les hauteurs de Saint-Peter. Service parfait . Il faut aimé le style assez ancien et classique. Petit déjeuner très bon. La chambre nécessite un petit rafraîchissement notamment la serrure de la porte de la salle de bain qui se bloquent.

Accueil 5 étoiles avec le sourire et la volonté affichée de satisfaire les clients. Chambre très vaste (nous avons été surclassés) et très confortable. Emplacement très calme. Restaurant de qualité avec service très attentionné. Petit déjeuner extraordinaire servi à table. Piscine chauffée agréable mais d'un accès peu aisé. Parking possible dans les rues autour de l'hôtel. Centre ville accessible à 10 mns à pied. Une mention particulière pour les petites attentions et notamment la boîte de chocolats!! Encore merci!!

Attention. en cas de suppression du bateau dans les 48h qui précèdent votre séjour à l'hôtel, vous ne pouvez espérer aucun remboursement de la réservation en cas de suppression de la traversée par gros temps. Réservation qui comprenait les petits déjeuners qui ne sont pas remboursés non plus. Accueil téléphonique peu aimable et personne ne parle français !!!

Pas de réception des bagages au bateau, 1km 2 en trainant des valises ( malgré l’envoi d’un message la veille de notre départ) Les chambres auraient besoin d’être rénovées

Fantastic hotel run by a guy, Diarmaid McDermot, who will surely reach the top of the hospitality business. Sticking to the principles of the original founders, Bea and Stan Tollman, this hotel treats its guests with utmost courtesy and respect. From Reception through Restaurant through Housekeeping, it runs like clockwork with too many members of staff to mention individually. If Guernsey was worth a revisit, we would definitely stay at the Duke.

We celebrated our Golden Wedding Anniversary with a sumptuous afternoon tea at the Duke of Richmond. Nicolas & his team were friendly & attentive & made us very welcome in a relaxed atmosphere. The savories & cakes were delicious, plus able to choose which type of tea we each preferred. Altogether we had a wonderful afternoon. The chef surprised us with a personalized slate containing a yummy fudge brownie decorated by fruit, much appreciated. Definitely recommend treating yourself.

Wow! What excellent service! My sister and I had been treated to an afternoon tea plus a bottle of champagne by her husband . There was such a scrumptious selection, all so beautifully presented, and everything tasted so delicious. We couldn’t eat any of the cakes , but were given containers to take them home with us. The selection of teas was truly amazing, we both especially loved the Cream Earl Grey. We spent several special hours there, just chatting and catching up, it was magical, we weren’t rushed. We hadn’t had any lunch, and certainly didn’t need to eat anything else after! If you want to spend some special time, do go, you won’t be disappointed. Special thanks to Bobby for making it so special.

Tonight my friend and I attended a charity ball event at the Duke of Richmond. We had a great time but at the end of the night were unable to get a taxi home despite trying to book one earlier that day and via the app. Dermot an employee at Duke of Richmond was really accommodating trying to get a taxi for us but to no such luck. We asked if they did a shuttle bus service to town so that we could go to the taxi rank as we planned to walk but it was pouring down and Dermot ended up offering to take us to the taxi rank but instead took us both home as we weren’t too far free of charge although managed to give him a fiver much to his refusal. He was a true polite gentleman who made us feel at ease and a credit staff member to the hotel! Thanks again Dermot!

Beautiful hotel with very helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble for them.food was delicious. Room very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Outside pool looked good, we didn't use it. Pool towels provided. Amazing choice for breakfast, everything you could possibly want, and more.
