海牙的 3 星級飯店

checking into a hotel, one would typically expect a welcoming sense of hospitality and warmth - at the very least. I did not feel that way with the ladies behind the reception desk. 1. Upon entering room, the bedsheets were sloppy, untidy and scruffy. This lack of care and attention to detail already spoke volumes to me about the hotel's take on caretaking and thoughtfulness of its service. 2. so no surprise then, that I later called the reception from the room to ask if they could loan me an international adaptor, to which they FIRST said I had to collect it myself at reception, and then LATER was quick to sing to a different tune by saying they had none left after I prompted them further and asked them politely why they couldn't send it to my room. 3. On my second day of accommodation, housekeeping knocked on my door - to which I jovially said out loud, 'no thank you until I check out.' The knocks came intermittently for another 6 times with 20-30 mins interval - until I had to get out of the bathroom to put the 'do not disturb' sign at my door. A little extreme with efficiency but, I mean, I kept saying it every other 20-30 mins, so I hardly think they needed the actualy door sign to get my point to begin with. Anyway, this major annoyance occurred the next day in the same fashion as well. All in all, great location for a hotel but the staff definitely need lots more training on the true QUALITY and PROFESSIONALISM of genuine HOSPITALITY. This is afterall, part of the IHG band so, my stay here this round was a definite disappointment.

It took me a while to write this review since I was afraid of my personal safety. Nevertheless, I have finally decided to share this information with other travelers. This incident happened during a weekday night when I decided to do a walk-in at the Ibis hotel in Den Haag after a long trip. I was already aware of some bad reviews from other travelers indicating ”naughty” staff. Nonetheless, I decided to give it a go. I entered the hotel and mentioned the hotel clerk that I wanted to book a room. His attitude was rough indicating me that he did not have any rooms left. For my bad luck, my phone was out of battery so I decided to seat in one of the tables in the lobby to quickly charge it to look for a hotel somewhere else. While I was charging my phone, the clerk approached me and shouted at me that I had to leave the hotel. I explained him that I wanted to charge my phone to look for other hotels in the area and I wouldn't take much time. He continued shouting at me that I had to leave, when suddenly he grabbed my bag and literally threw it to the street. At this moment I was petrified since I never imagined something like this was happening. Then, he pushed me violently out of the hotel. Luckily I managed to take a picture of this guy. The guy has a tattoo on his right arm and rather than a hotel clerk, he thinks he is a MMA fighter or part of gang. I really don't know how the manager of this hotel can have person like this with such level of anger dealing with customers. My review by no means intend to advice other travelers to visit or not this hotel. I believe the facilities of this hotel are quite nice but what I can say is that I'm not entering this place again until they take strong actions towards improving the quality of their staff. I hope this guy doesn't get fired because of this review but if the hotel really wants to keep him, the hotel should consider send him to an anger management course. I don't know if this guy is always like this or just had a bad night and he took it on me. Nonetheless, I think no one should suffered what this guy did to me under any circumstance.

和夥伴一起去週末度假,發現The Social Hub既實惠又舒適。房間整潔,維護得很好,雖然浴室小了點。特別喜歡那裏有多少自然光。我們與工作人員以及其他客人進行了非常友好的互動。雖然社交中心並不便宜,但海牙的酒店往往很昂貴,這足以接近我樂意推薦的最低價格。

Ontzettend leuk hotel, centraal gelegen in het centrum van Den Haag. Mooie en goed verzorgde kamer, met dito badkamer. Hotelpersoneel heel erg vriendelijk en gastvrij. En speciaal voor Chris en Femke: heel erg bedankt voor het gezellige afzakkertje!

Hotels being incredibly expensive in the Hague, we went for the Best Western as we knew the standard. The room was very small. The sink was outside the bathroom - quite strange. So you had 2 waste bins in the room and none in the bathroom. The bed was excellent. The pillows small but larger ones were provided on request. The shower was really good and so too were the towels. Great to have car-parking on site at a reasonable price. Local taxis were surprisingly cheap!

Kamer was klein ten opzichte van het bed. Erg groot bed en zeer dicht bij het raam, als je de gordijnen niet dicht doet kan de hele stad meegenieten. Erg gehorig. 's Nachts een melding gemaakt van geluid van buren maar de verandering kwam in de vorm van een continu geluid van een drukpomp of zo. Zeer irritant, zeer slecht! Helaas geen airco. Bij het ontbijt een kei hard pistoletje maar de rest van het ontbijt zag er oké uit.

Location is perfect (a.o. 5 minutes on foot from Q Park City Centre (35 € per 24 hrs)) Reception was friendly. Hotel and rooms are clean. However the rooms are really tiny. We could hardly stow away our 2 small suitcases. The sink was in the room. Toilet and shower OK. Nice rain shower. Breakfast is OK but rather basic. On one side of the hotel there is a large terrace, so I can imagine that during the summernights the rooms that side of the building (where our room was) must be very noisy. (see other comments of the hotel). Fortunately for us it was only March and raining......

很棒的酒店,員工很好,服務很棒,體驗非凡。我和朋友在那裏住了一個星期,每天早上/中午11點之前離開酒店。後來我們得到了一個有新浴缸的清潔房間,廚房也被重新填充了。個人很酷。想呆久一點
