查爾斯鎮6號汽車旅館(Motel 6 Charles Town, WV)

The staff were friendly and efficient. The room was fine for the stay, though the mattress was so stiff, it was like laying on concrete. Thankfully the room had 2 beds and the other was not so hard. However, my complaints are it seemed like they put all the guest right on top of one another given there’s three sides to the building. Every conversation someone had in the neighboring room you heard. When they took a shower or flush the toilets you knew it. Oh and when they or you too a shower it sounds like a geyser going of. It startled me awake at 4 am! Then next to you all you hear are other guest slamming the doors all night long… If you put your key card next to your phone or another electronic it deactivates so you have to go back and forth to the office to reactivate it. Will I stay here again… no. It would have cost me just as much money to stay at a nice hotel with breakfast included then it cost for us to eat out the next morning. You live and you learn.

I stay at the Charles Town location 4-5 times a year. The rooms are always clean top to bottom. The front desk is always great. Rhua Dixon treats me like family. She is the best!!!

I was disappointed in our stay. To start off with our king size bed only had three pillows. We requested additional pillows are were told that there were none available. But what was the most disgusting was the mold in the shower. I mentioned it to a cleaning what I was thought was a team lead and she said she was going to mention it to the office but never came back and cleaned. We left to go sight seeing and had an expectation that the shower would be cleaned and our bed made but neither had been done. I will not be going to another Motel 6 in the future.

BED BUGS SAYS IT ALL.THANK THE LORD ABOVE THE GUY BESIDE MY SOS ROOM TOLD HIM HE HAD A BED BUG CRAWLING UP HIS CHEST WHEN. HE WAS WASHING NEXT MORNING!!!! WE CHECKED MY SONS BED AND SURE ENOUGH THERE WAS A BED BUG … I WENT STRAIGHT BACJPK CHECKED MY ROOM DIDN’T SEE NOTHING I TOOK SHHETS PAD ALL OFF BED AND OF COURSE MOTEL 6 TO CHEAP TO HAVE MATTRESS COVERS OVER BED.THEY GAVE MY SON A $25 REFUND I’M THE ONE WHO BOOKED ROOM AND PUT MY SON & 2 GRANDCHILDREN IN A INFESTED ROOM .WE ALL TRAVELED TOGETHER SO EVERYONE LUGGAGE IN SAME CARRYING AREA .HOME NOW TRYING TO BOIL BRUSHES,COMBS,GETTING HOTTEST WATER TO WASH CLOTHES,BACKPACKS IN DRYER ON HOTTEST HEAT HOPING THEY DON’T MELT.WASHING CLOTHES IN HOTTEST WATER POSSIBLE & THEN GOING TO HAVE TO DRY ON HOTTEST SETTINGS,CLOTHES THAT I Usually WASH IN DELICATE AND HANGER DRY. MY SON DON’T SMOKE BUT IT WAS THE ONLY ROOM LEFT AND WE WERE ONLY TAKING GRANDCHILDREN TO HARPERS FERRY a& LETTING THEM WATCH HORSE RACE SO DIDN’T WANT TO SPEND A-LOT ON HOTEL ROOM. THAT’LL NEVER HAPPEN AGAIN.AFTER STRESS,WASHING a& MAYBE RUINING SOME CLOTHES I’LL PAY EXTRA TO HAVE A ROOM WHERE MATTRESS IS COVERED.NO HOTEL SHOULD HAVE A SMOKING ROOM .I WS HESITANT I WISH I’D LISTEN TO MY INSTINCTS. OUR ROOM WAS CLEAN BUT ILL NEVER STAY AT ANOTHER MOTEL 6 .THEY’LL LEAVE THE LIGHT ON ALRIGHT SO YOU DONT KNOW WHEN YOU TURN THE LIGHT OUT THE BED BIPUGS COME OUT. I SEE I CAN LEAVE A PHOTO I SHOULD HAVE TAKEN ONE OF THE BED BUG ON MY SON SHEET .

The woman at check in was courteous and helpful. BUT on entering the room there was a strong smell of citrus from the cleaner used in the hotel. After turning down the bed and relaxing a bit, I realized I was allergic to the smell in the room.. My lungs began to burn, and I knew if I stayed, it would bloom into an intense cold. So we had to check out. The kind lady at the office could offer no refund because I had turned down the bed covers and there was no housekeeping available.

Received key cards that did not work, but that is a common problem with hotels. Room size was good, sheets had a couple tiny dead bugs, but all were dead. Sheets, towels, and pillow cases were clean. Mattresses were fairly confortable. The hotel was extremely quiet on a Friday night, which was great. This is an OK place to sleep for a day while traveling, but not a hotel I would use for a longer vacation.

The room was a little disappointing. Not as clean as past visits. Bathroom was dirty, cobwebs in the room. Could have been cleaner. Overall, the room did it’s purpose. Next time we will be looking elsewhere.

It was only one night, so can’t complain too much. Shower had mildew and room had an odor. I only stayed in room for total of 7 hours. It was NYE, cheapest can find .
