市政廳飯店(Hotel am Rathaus)

The first thing that greeted us after having requested a quiet room at booking was a view unto the backyard with the bins, then hair on freshly made bed and beside table, dirty shower - various moldy patches, old shower gel bottles on top of shower unit, shower unit panels broken, stained old carpet flooring way past its time(wouldn’t have walked it barefoot), dirty streaks on bathroom door and panel, broken/rotten door panels, old dirt stuck to panel, old dirty looking bedside lamps, the double bed proved to be two mattresses stuck together, all in all simply disgusting and at over 100.— per night including breakfast a disgrace! + Staff was friendly, breakfast was decent continental breakfast no hot breakfast available, we could leave luggage with them after checkout so we could explore some more of the city

My partner stayed on the top floor and had a beautiful, romantic view of the mountain and rooftops. From check in to check out the hotel front desk hosts were helpful and hospitable, the location could not be beat as were right around the corner from the square. The nights were quiet, but mornings were noisy with the sound of barn swallows warbling :)-we found it to be a lovely way to wake up. The breakfast was substantial, well thought out, and tasty. We will definitely be back if we can!

Wenn man die Innenstadt von Heidelberg anschauen will punktet das Hotel mit seiner Lage. Die Zimmer sind so, wie die Bilder es zeigen. Das Personal ist nett und zuvorkommend.

This is a "no--frills" but perfectly good hotel, situated very convenient for the Old Town and with a very good nearby bus service to/from the station. It could on occasion be a bit noisy outside, but the double glazing was effective at keeping that to a subdued level. It's one problem is that for a a four-storey building it doesn't have a lift! But the very friendly and helpful staff were willing to help getting luggage up and down. There was plenty of choice with unlimited quantities for breakfast. We'd certainly stay again.

Wir waren 3 Nächte im Hotel. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Das Frühstück war sehr gut. Die Auswahl war für uns ausreichend. Wurst, Käse, Eier, Marmelade, Honig, Joghurt und Quark, frisches Obst, alles da. Der Fernseher in unserem Zimmer war sehr groß. Der Teppichboden im Zimmer müsste man, denke ich, bald erneuern. Ansonsten, wir kommen gerne wieder. Preis-Leistung ist in Ordnung.

Right in the center of Old Town, Heidelberg. Within walking distance to the funicular to the castle. Night time the old town restaurants come alive. Architectural marvels everywhere in old town. Would definitely go back.

The accommodation is very old and there is no lift for those with limited mobility. On the other hand: personnel is very friendly, room is very clean, decent breakfast and the location is perfect.

This hotel is perfectly located for the Chris**as market. This town is fantastic. The staff was unbelievably nice and very helpful. A couple of notes - 1 there is no elevator so be prepared to climb the steps with your bags. 2 - parking is not onsite. 3 - it is not easy to find this hotel due to very narrow roads and pedestrians. HOWEVER, once you are settled this place is awesome!

Sehr gute Lage mitten in der Altstadt, sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Mitarbeiter, bequeme Betten, völlig ausreichendes Frühstücksbuffet. Die Einrichtung, Teppiche, Badezimmer etc. sind etwas in die Jahre gekommen und wirken etwas renovierungsbedürftig.
