From the moment we had the doors opened for us into the beautiful lobby we were wowed, and that continued when shown to our beautiful fully equipped apartment. The pool area second to none. The service was exceptional and all with beautiful attitudes and big smiles. Can't thank them enough for such a fantastic experience. Would recommend Sherwood Residence 200%. If ever back in Saigon this is where I would stay.

This was our second time staying at Sherwood Suites, the first time was in 2019. Our experience this time was just as wonderful. Honestly this has got to be the best hotel in HCMC. It’s worth the extra cost for sure. Our family of 2 adults and 3 children stayed in the Grand Suite which had two bedrooms plus a spare bed in a study nook/large cupboard. Beds are gloriously soft and comfortable, I’m fairly sure they fill the pillows with clouds, the rooms have the fastest wifi known to man, climate controlled quiet air-conditioning, a laundry with washer and dryer, a great kitchen with excellent size fridge, a great living dining area with a couch and table, tons of storage, two palatial bathrooms, and two tv’s with all the modern features (on our main bedroom tv airplay wasn’t working as I’m not sure the tv was connected to the same wifi network as our phones, but you know, first world problems 🤣). The hotel has a fantastic under cover but open air pool which looks small and dark in photos but really is gorgeous and large in real life. It also had a spa/jacuzzi and gym next door, plus a games room for small children, and a pool/billiards room for older ones. The restaurant had an excellent breakfast, where you have a small selection of pastries, yoghurt and fresh fruit and juices (real squeezed orange juice included), then also has a menu where you order as many cooked breakfast items as you like. You can also order a proper latte/tea/coffee as part of the buffet breakfast. The only improvement I can suggest is the rooms didn’t have a guide that told how this worked (there was a small guide on the tv but it mainly listed the services and times), so it was a little confusing working out that we ordered meals on top of the buffet spread at first, mainly as this is unique to Sherwood. The meals were so delicious it’s also worth having lunch or dinner here too, on the pricey side of course but absolutely worth it! Suggestion: It would be great if guests could order room service via an app, the website, or the tv menu, as this would avoid any language confusion and would be lovely for those that don’t feel too social. Staff were excellent, they really go above and beyond! All had really great english and were super friendly and helpful. The manager was always available to help out and offered great suggestions of things to do and see. Nothing was ever a bother, we arranged a tour and a few taxi’s via reception, and a late checkout for one of our rooms for an additional small fee, they handled everything perfectly and it really made the end of our trip a total highlight. Sherwood is very conveniently located in District 3, near lots of places to eat, a million coffee houses, a short walk to a few of the larger shopping centres and undercover market, as well as the war museum, beautiful old Saigon Central Post Office and Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica (cathedral). 我住的是全景房，一張單人床和一張雙人床，窗口是落地玻璃，望向獨立宮，所以整體感覺都很舒服，浴室也十分大，三人同時站在企缸裏也沒有問題。可是隔音十分差。早上經常聽到隔離房間的聲音，和收拾房間的職員努力工作的聲音。還有一樣事情我百思不得其解，就是每天早上8點多，收拾房間的職員都會拍我們房門問我們要不要清潔（我們已按了Don’t disturb的按鈕）有次我們還在睡覺沒有回應，他們拍卡進來看見我們在睡覺便走了，過了半小時後他們打內線電話來問要不要清潔…是越南人十分勤力，還是其他特別原因？😅只是這方面令我扣分。

I stayed at GK Central Hotel for 2 nights in HCMC, and I can recommend to stay here, if you need an ok, cheap place to stay with a perfect location for getting around in central HCMC/Saigon. The room was comfortable and clean, however quite small (and much smaller than the impressions from the photos), and the window faced a court yard to a school, so there was a lot of noise from the school children in the daytime (but we were hardly there, but out and exploring the city, so didn't matter). The breakfast was a bit so-so, and the breakfast room very crowded, we had troubles finding a place to sit on the second day. However, I must give credit to the staff at the hotel who were all very friendly, helpful and welcoming, so this was a huge plus for us.

Het hotel ligt bijna naast het war museum en het paleis. De kamers zijn ruim maar oud en slecht onderhouden. Ik moest drie keer verhuizen. Eerste kamer had iemand in gerookt. T****e kamer deed de WiFi het niet. Derde kamer was het tapijt nat van een lekkend bad. Ontbijt heeft ruime keuze. Receptie spreekt goed Engels. Helaas de rest niet. Zwembad op het dak is niet spannend. Slecht onderhoud.

I experienced tons of issues with staff .That mostly came from very low or mostly zero understanding of English. Also technical issues such as i moved rooms twice due to the room phones or Tv did not work. (So stayed in 3 rooms in one week, they did upgrade me though, to room with a window) Noting when I first came to bathroom the floor looked extremely dirty sport all over the floor, I think staff must have forgotten to clean, first I felt discouraged so I took the free toothbrush put soap on it to see if could removed the hundreds of spots, I could not, so I guess someone spilled chemical or something that the tiles could not “resist”? Later I saw other bathroom floors look exactly the same, so I was right, some fault with the tiles they used, cuz two other bathrooms I saw later had other floor tiles with no issues. Also it happen a few times we ask staff to clean room and they forgot it? Sometimes they just come give water or toilet paper and forget water & coffee 🧐 First room I stay in Tv and Netflix worked fine , but room phone dead, next room TVs Netflix out of order as well as room phone dead. A “technician” was sent to room (Zero English) didn’t fix the issues Change room again , the staff then told us that Netflix has not worked for 1-2 years in hotel (despite it did work in first room🤣) Third room also issues with Tv Netflix YouTube “technician” came and had zero as in ZERO English also Zero knowledge how to fix Netflix, did not understand simple word “Log out” he also unable to fix the TV problems. Finally I fixed it my self. More issues: Pool very unkept very green , pool area dirty and spa pool no bobbles? Pool was later cleaned up👏 There were many small ants in room on 10 floor. I asked 3 times for iron and was promised they bring one to my room, it never came so my wife picked it up herself. The two managers I meet Amanda & Ken speaks perfect English and are trying to be very helpful, but their job gets impossible with their poorly or un trained staff. I would recommend you arrange free English classes for general staff if you wanna attract more foreigners. I will publish my final review after checking out😘🧐

服務好真的很好！還幫我摺衣服！行李主動積極，櫃檯服務非常好！租機車幫忙我們用到好！ 早餐也不錯吃！有一個負責煎蛋跟煮粉的妹妹，長得很可愛！每天吃她做的心情都很好！ 房間雖然不大，但是該有的都有！ 地點超好！離濱城市場非常近（走路三分鐘）周圍景點走路都能到！非常好的的選擇

我進入嘉義中心五星級飯店時喜歡他們的服務人員每一個都超有禮貌彬彬有禮的像我們招呼，也會幫我們噴酒精那些因現在疫情還是比較不穩定所以還是得噴注意自身安全再來他們的服務態度都非常的良好，也幫我們說明這房間的鑰匙怎麼開鎖那些然後他們也會幫我們提著行李帶到我們所住的房間指引著我們，進入到自己住的房間時他們的房間裡有一股香香的味道讓我感覺整個裡面房間的，環境乾乾淨淨的跟外面相比差很多呢！！會讓人想再去住一次～電視那些景色都非常的優美只能說嘉義的飯店讓我愛不釋手住了一晚醒來之後他們也會有自助餐吃到飽的早餐飯店該有的餐點餐點也非常好吃不會覺得讓人很難吃的那種感覺真的是非常的讚所以希望下一次如果有這種飯店我一定會在去一次因為服務態度好之外餐點也非常的好吃簡直完美無缺的那種形容詞最後我們也跟著服務人員說聲謝謝辛苦了以上我的心得報告。

This was our second stay at the hotel and it was a definite improvement on the first stay. We were upgraded to an Executive room which was much nice than the first. The room was on the 7th floor, it was light and bright and a lot more room. The pool had been cleaned but was still not totally mould free. Breakfast is nice if you get in early otherwise there is nothing left. They don’t seem to restock it. There is a great variety of choice from western omelette to Vietnamese soup to rice porridge. They do cater well. There are still small things to improve on but a great step up. The receptionist was very helpful and we were able to extend our stay till the evening as we had a late flight home. Right near the market if that’s your thing but also close to sights and restaurants.

但是其他都還可以。我非常悲觀,因爲我讀過糟糕的評論。但我非常驚訝。接待員確實會說英語,並幫助我拿行李。房間如圖所示。甚至還有熱水。雖然沒有飲用水供應,但這並不是破壞協議。

Just a few steps away from the lively ben thanh market. Wonderful night life surrounded by many cafes, massage places and good food options. There are traffic lights in this area making it easy and safe to cross the streets. But disappointed that the hotel lobby isn't air conditioned and that 1 of the 2 showers in each of the connecting rooms doesn't come with hot water. Only 2 small bottles of water free, it wasn't clear and they charged for the rest :/
