We came to this amazing and special hotel for our honeymoon and 31 years later loved the experience so much that we came back several times (including taking our children).The view is amazing and the room and bed is very comfortable with a pillow menu.You can sit at the window and watch the boats coming in. The customer service is excellent. You can walk to salamanca market and the shops.The hotel and room is very clean.We were grateful for the upgrade and the champagne 🍾.

Friendly and helpful staff. Clean but basic facilities - no shelf to sit toiletries etc in the cramped bathroom. Awkward checking in at the busy intersection with no designated space to park and unload luggage, can be a long walk up steep streets from the nearest available metered parking spot.

Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
