卡亞恩德洛武遊獵營地莊園(Khaya Ndlovu Safari Manor)

Lodge mit sehr großer Ausstrahlung, fast luxuriös. Sehr gute Bewirtung und einfallsreiche Gerichte. Die Bar sehr aufregend, mit Blick in den Busch. Das Grillen am offenen Feuer ein Erlebnis. Die organisierten Safaris sind immer ein voller Erfolg.

After a nightmare experience on our Honeymoon at a nearby hotel that we abandoned midway through our stay, Kaya Ndlovu was our salvation in the dark - literally! They sent a driver over to fetch us on short notice around 20:00 and brought us back to the hotel. When we arrived it was load shedding and the kitchen was closed, but they offered us a gratis dinner all the same. As it turned out, we were the only two guests on the property and though we booked the most affordable room, they upgraded us to the honeymoon suite (without knowing it was our honeymoon) as a generous gesture, and a sign of the hospitality to come. Initially we booked just the one night, so as to give ourselves an escape and a chance to plan what we wanted to do with the two remaining nights of our journey before departing from Hoedspruit. However, after the way we were welcomed the night before we chose to stay put for our remaining time. We contacted the reservation specialist, let her know that we intended to stay for two more nights, and asked what time we might be able to move into one of the more affordable rooms. To our delight, she informed us that they would honor their initial upgrade and keep us in the suite for the remainder of our stay. The staff there were beyond amazing with their hospitality, attentiveness, and made us feel well-taken care of while also respecting our privacy. We had been at the lodge a day prior for a game drive on the property, which was amazing and a highly recommended experience, and the staff remembered us upon our return, saying, "Welcome back," upon seeing us for the first time in the morning. We cannot recommend Kaya Ndlovu highly enough and feel confident that anybody who stays there will have nothing but good things to say about their experience.

Très beau lodge à quelques kilomètres de Hoedspruit et tout proche du parc Kruger. Depuis la terrasse on peut admirer les animaux de la réserve qui viennent boire dans un point d’eau face au lodge. Spectacle unique au moment du petit déjeuner. Les chambres sont très confortables et bien équipées et le personnel est attentif et aux petits soins pour ses clients. Les petits déjeuners sont très copieux avec un grand choix. Les diners sont organisés à différents endroits du lodge. Le lodge a organisé un ‘Braii’ très apprécié de tous les clients présents. Le lodge organise des game drives et une promenade à pieds dans la réserve. C’est très sympa et nous avons pu observer de nombreux animaux grâce à Sammy. Il y a aussi des journées dans le parc Kruger. Jason notre guide était un puit de connaissance sur la vie animale. Ce fut une très belle journée.

Surprenant de se retrouver autant en prise avec cette image d'Epinal "Out of Africa" si près de Hoedspruit. Le Lodge a su garder son aspect familial et son âme avec la maison principale et les dépendances, entourées d'un jardin superbe. La piscine et le restaurant avec vue sur le bush et le point d'eau où viennent s'abreuver les animaux sont un must (nous avons vu 5 rhinos le soir). Les prestations de safaris sont excellentes, au départ du lodge, donc sans perte de temps le matin ou le soir. Enfin les Chefs en charge de la nourriture nous ont régalés tout au long du séjour: du petit-déjeuner au diner tout était très bon... et ne ratez pas le Braï du vendredi soir !! Si vous ajoutez à cela la gentillesse et la disponibilité du personnel vous comprendrez que nous n'avons qu'une envie, y retourner !!

Very disappointing dinner. Our overall experience. Not much of a selection for a three course dinner, 2 starters, 2 mains and 1 pudding. The meal was over priced and offered nothing exceptional. The starter was not too bad but by no means wow, a tasteless and oily vetkoek was the "side:, A very bland oxtail with polenta that tasted like pap was one of the main dishes on offer, the second being salmon - which caused a person in our party to get ill. she noticed it smelt a bit fishy and said in hindsight she should not have eaten it. Sago pudding was the only option for dessert, not exactly what one would expect for fine dining. The deck is lovely and the view is one of the best in Hoedspruit, but the dinner was by no means anywhere close to our expectations. Although staff were friendly, the guy whom I'm assuming was the manager, was around but didn't bother coming over to our table to enquire how the evening was going. There was no atmosphere and it felt as if most people were whispering to each other. Eventually a bit of background music was switched on.... We had to ask for everything, top up of drinks, more ice, another bottle of wine etc, not once was this offered. Had he paid attention, we would have aired our thoughts with him, but as he seemed disinterested, we paid the bill and left. Overall a very disappointing experience.

We attended two excursions at Khaya Ndlovu a morning and a night safari. With Sammi as our guide to both. Sammi was just amazing! Such a nice guy and an incredible driver. On the night drive we saw so many animals up close including rhino and lions mere meters away. We then stopped in the middle of the bush for a sundowner. However before the drinks were poured our friend spotted a Leopard in the distance. Sammi was quick to pack everything away and get us closer to the Leopard even going off road! And after we all got our photos back we went for a celebratory drink in the bush. What a great experience! It certainly left an impression on all of us. The morning drive was equally exciting as we saw two cheetahs and three lions right next to the car. Sammi was great at making sure we were all happy before he drove on to the next exciting scene. Couldn't be happier. Thanks Sammi for such memorable drives!

It was amazing, the gamedrives with Semmy, the lovely food and our stay in the tent! What an excellent view, there we were sitting in the middle of nature with wildebeast, girafs and zebras around the tent. At night we could here the lions and hyena, we just loved it The tent was really one of a kind, with a inside bath and a outside shower and a very nice bed and a tent/roomservice You guys really spoiled us and we didnt want to leave so every we booked an extra day untill it was really time to go home you showed us the cheetahs, lions and ellies, it was so much fun to be with you and all of your friendly faces every time of the day Thank you so much and see you soon at the manor house because we will be neighbours later on this year Service with a smile, thats how you do it
