This place has an outrageous safety deposit fee, that of course if nothing is wrong when you check out you shouldn’t have a problem. I paid for my room and was only short $50 cash from the $150 they charge for the fee. My 8 year old and I drove so long and far just for the receptionist to turn us away even when I told her I’d pay the last $50 in the morning .

Our room was not clean during our 2 day stay. They collected our towels but didn’t give us any replacement until we asked.

My Poor rating is due entirely to the hotels retention of my $100 "room deposit" for almost one week. Staff promised that the deposit would be returned on the day I checked out.

Although it was a lower cost option to the two other chain hotels in the area, I would not stay again. Probably because it was slightly less cost, it was filled with local labor workers. The parking was crowded and the people were loud late into the night and then very early in the am. The room was marginally clean and the tub was stained.

For what we need this is the best priced property there. It is very quiet, it is an older motel, but is comfortable. It fit our needs for the 2 days we were there. Breakfast is nothing spectacular, but we managed. Usual items for a 'continental' type breakfast.

The SureStay in Hollister is very welcoming' This is the second time I stayed there in the last 2 weeks. . And vary accommodating for motorcycles" I would definitely recommend!!

Very well kept property. Outside of the town but still nice. Room was very clean but I did see some ants in our bathroom which I thought was odd.

My boyfriend and I discovered feces in the bathroom shower tub. The staff was able to clean it however, management did not feel as though we deserve a discount or any other type of compensation for the inconvenience it caused. The fecal matter ruined our stay.
