Great location. Warm and Clean. Free WiFi. Room itself was spacious. Bathroom was old and needs an update. A bit creaky as could hear other guests from their rooms. Overall a pleasant stay and great value for money.

DO NOT STAY HERE ITS DISGUSTING AND THE STAFF ARE VILE . I pain in full for a studio room . I arrived and they asked for £100 deposit .i asked to see my room first which I was told no but asked for the manager as I was a hotel inspector so the manager came who also looked dirty and I was led downstairs to a basement past bin bags and furniture and rubbish to a cupboard which was my room with a toilet. Absolutely nothing like the pictures I had been sent on ******* app. The floor was disgusting and dirty .I filmed the whole thing which I told them I was doing .I refused to stay in there and was led back up the stairs to the manager still filming .asked for my money back which she refused. THERE WAS NO WAY I WAS STAYING THERE I'D RATHER SLEEP IN THE STREETS .HOW THE HELL IS THIS PLACE ALLOWED TO STILL BE RUNNING IS AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE... STEER WELL CLEAR

This hotel is run by chancers and scammers! Paid in advance through ******* to stay here and three weeks after I checked out they sent me notice of an additional charge they were taking for a cleaning fee. When I queried this as it wasn't included in the charges or T&Cs on ******* or the hotel's own website, and the staff on site had told me when I checked out there were no additional charges the hotel refused to accept this and have now stopped answering emails and phone calls! Do not stay here!

AVOID!! on bookin com i have chosen option to pay at the hotel - they tried to charge me two days before anyway. i called them and paid everything. During check in they told me to pay 100 pounds which is not mentioned at all when you reserve room. Room was clean but standard very poor - awful basement with need for major renovation - floor, walls etc. At the moment I still do not know if my deposit is back any shortly and if... We have been in many hotels all over UK and Europe from 3 stars to 5 stars and never ever paid any deposit....It is ridiculous especially for standart like this

Do not stay here. This hotel is marketed as an upmarket spa hotel but the spa is closed and the rooms are far from upmarket. The fact that you are asked to pay a £100 deposit before you check-in gives you an idea of the type of hotel this is. I was convinced the 8 emails and 2 texts I received on check-in day asking to pay £100 were spam. As for the stay, the walls are very thin so you will hear everything. The hotel isn't staffed overnight so other guests can shout, argue, fight, knock on your door or whatever they want to at all hours. Didn't feel safe at all. Not what we were expecting when looking for a nice weekend with our 15 month old. Could not wait to leave here the following morning. Took a week to get the deposit back. Do not stay here.

The only way of making contact with anyone at this hotel is to actually go there. Otherwise it is all by email, even during normal working hours. When I did go there they were very unhelpful I was told they had parking, but that is only if you pay £15 and want a 15 minute walk back to the hotel. My room was a dump with bathroom full of mold and skirting hanging off. Only 2 out of 3 bulbs actually in the main light etc etc. The reception closes at around 7.30 pm I think and doesn’t open until around 9am. There is a number to ring should you need to contact anyone outside these hours, but all you get is an ansaphone saying they are now closed!! This cannot be legal. They have virtually ignored my complaints. Location is good but do yourself a favour and DO NOT STAY THERE.

This hotel was nothing as shown in the pictures. Please do not book. I stayed for 4 nights and it was the worst experience ever! 1- Check-in was stressful and felt unsafe It was all automated via whatsapp with no human contact at the other end which meant that most of the times my questions went unanswered. I was very uncomfortable sharing my ID via WhatsApp as I don’t know how long they keep guests’ information or what they do with it, but without that I couldn’t get my check in code via Whatsapp. 2- Accessibility concerns The hotel is not accessible to anyone with an illness or disability. There are no lifts. I was given a room on the top floor (5th floor) of a very old building with narrow staircase. Luckily I was able to carry my luggage without difficulty, but for anyone with a disability or injury it would be very uncomfortable if not impossible. 3- The room was nothing like what was shared on the hotel website or other booking pages. The toilet was clean but not what one would expect in a 3-star hotel. There was no hand soap or shampoo and the shower gel smelt really disgusting. I had to go out and buy hand soap and shower gel and shampoo. All the furniture in the room was sticky and gross. I had to also buy antibacterial wipes and clean anything that I was going to touch like door handles, hooks, and light switches! There was only 1 hanger behind the door and no wardrobe. 4- There were NO staff members or Reception desk at the hotel. There was a QR code on the wall to get in touch with Reception and that QR code was disabled, so there was no one I could write to ask for things. In all the 4 days that I stayed there, no one cleaned the room, removed rubbish, or replenished toilet paper. I had to go to the shops and buy toilet paper. There was no room service or restaurant attached to the hotel, so had to go further out for food. 5- The walls were so thin that one night I could hear snoring from the room next door almost all night. 6- The WIFI was unstable and most of the time I was unable to do any work in the hotel room in the evenings because the WIFI was down. 7- Cherry on top: on Thursday night, someone in the hotel thought it was a good idea to smoke illegal substance in the hotel. That triggered fire alarms and we had to evacuate the hotel at nearly 11:00 p.m. in our pyjamas. Nearly every family I spoke to out on the pavement (while the fire engine was called) was annoyed and disgusted and looking forward to leave. After we were allowed to go back in, the young people on my floor kept partying and talking loudly ALL NIGHT long. I gave up and got out of bed at 5:30. At about 7:30 in the morning, the young lady had a loud argument with one of the male companions which was also not pleasant to overhear. I also realised after the evacuation that the only way out of the room I was given was through the single narrow staircase. If there was a fire in the building and that staircase was in the burning zone, there would have be

A CAUTIONARY TALE. We got to the property at 130pm, they will not let you check in early. You have to pay an additional £2.97 to get your key, you have to scan QR codes to obtain keys, you also have to provide your ID via WhatsApp. The AI on WhatsApp will then give you a code to unlock your key. THIS IS A SELF SERVICE HOTEL, NO ONSITE STAFF. We then got there at 230pm and we had to wait 30mins for the code, a hound boy then came out to give us our key. The first room provided was not what I booked. After 1 hour we finally obtained the code to another room, which was filthy, public hair in the bath and stains everywhere. with the previous occupants' underwear everywhere. The place is tired and falling apart, carpet threadbare in the stairs. The "spa" is a hot tub and a sauna down a dark, scary hallway at the back of the hotel. Now, the hotel has blocked me on WhatsApp and not given me my refund! The staff where so ubrupt, rude and condescending when I finally got through to a person. I booked via ******* and I will be taking it further with them. Honestly, it is atrocious. DO NOT STAY HERE!

Avoid this place. They cancelled our stay at one days notice with no explanation. They phoned to tell me, but no written details has been sent to explain despite me emailing several times and sending numerous WhatsApp messages. Nobody answers the phone. I still haven’t received a refund and can’t get anyone to speak to me to find out what’s happening. I’m taking them them to small claims court as they seem unwilling to help or discuss. Worst customer service I’ve received in quite some time.
