亨茨維爾舒適飯店(Comfort Inn Huntsville)

The hotel is perfectly OK. It's really close to a grocery store, and about 15 mins walk to downtown Hunstville. It's also right at the intersection to drive into Algonquin Park. Convenience factor is high. The room was fine. It is modestly updated, though entirely appropriate for a Comfort Inn. The bed was firmer than I'd like, and for some reason the hotel has supplied a bunch of small pillows instead of larger ones meant for a king size bed. My main issue with the room was the toilet. It's a "flapperless" variety, which has a rotating bucket inside the tank. When you flush, it's the water in the rotating bucket that triggers the flush. It's a water conserving toilet pure and simple, and frustratingly so. The toilet takes an exceptionally long time to fill - so when you have two people that want to leave, but use the bathroom first, the second person is waiting for that bucket to fill before a flush will work. This was taking about 30 minutes in our room. I eventually used the in-room ice bucket to fill it faster. It was also set to fill about half way, leading to a very weak flush - one that would fail to remove toilet paper and urine, let alone #2. I used the ice bucket to fill it to the fill line on the bucket and the flush worked fine. There are better choices for managing water use in a hotel. Making the toilet unusable is definitely one of them, and the reason I won't return.

They were really good about the pets. They gave us a ground floor room, so it was easy to take the pets out for a walk. The only complaint I have is the air conditioning Heating unit in the room was quite proud

We had no issues whatsoever with this property. In fact, it's my go-to accommodation while in Huntsville. They have a complimentary breakfast which is more than satisfying. The staff are friendly; and willing to go above and beyond to please their guests.

Our room was very clean, nice and freshened daily, and the bed was incredibly comfortable!! great rate and close to everything you need. There was also an awesome variety for the continental breakfast! We will definitely come back!

Sherri and Meagan were lovely to deal with..the wedding we were attending began at 2:30 and check in was 3..they allowed us tonchexkmin early to gwt ready

Delightful to be able to park by the outside door of the room, like the old days. Well kept, well staffed and great value. I'll be staying there again for sure

The gentleman that helped us in the front desk was amazing with care and professional service, even though we visited at a time that all rooms are sold out and very busy time.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, easygoing, lots of parking and good shops and restaurants nearby
