It is important for hotels to maintain a high level of cleanliness and sanitation, especially during these times where hygiene is of utmost importance. Guests expect and deserve a clean and healthy environment to stay in, and it is the hotel's responsibility to provide that. Finding a poop stain on the toilet seat is not only disgusting but also a huge concern for guests' health and safety. It is unacceptable and should not have happened in the first place. The hotel should take immediate action to thoroughly clean and disinfect the room to prevent the spread of germs and bacteria. In addition to hygiene issues, the service at the hotel was also lacking. As a guest, it is reasonable to expect a certain level of professionalism and attentiveness from the staff, especially at the front desk where guests check-in and have their first impression of the hotel. However, this was not the case during my stay. I hope that the hotel management takes my feedback seriously

Check in was very easy and the staff were friendly and attentive. Our first time staying in San Diego and we’d definitely book the same hotel again.

Although this was under construction, it was quiet, service was great, breakfast was hot, fresh and different selections each day. Rooms were brand new and very decent. Bed, pillows are extremely comfortable! Area is close to everything around (e.g. restaurants, Starbucks and more).

Overall we were very pleased with our stay at the Holiday Inn. It was going through a renovation at the time, but noise was at a minimum so it wasn't an issue. Breakfast to me was Ok, my wife loved the eggs, she stated the sausage was great the first day but tasted different next day, my sone liked the biscuits and gravy. As a vegan i was disappointed with my choices, it was either dry cereal are bread with PB&J. The bagels were not good and some were old and hard. Fruit was very small apples and oranges that didn't look appetizing. I wish they could get some small plant based milk for cereal but that happens sometimes.Other then the breakfast our stay was pleasurable

Fue una buena estancia. Están remodelando y hasta ahora muy bien. Los cuartos nuevos, limpios y amplios. El desayuno es bueno, pero no como muestran en sus imagenes y son pocas mesas disponibles. Usan mucho desechable y eso tiene impacto ecologico.

A pesar de que se encuentran en remodelación, estuvo bastante bien. Trate de que me dieran una tarifa parcial para extender las horas de 11:00 a 7:00 y me cobraron día completo. Creo que pueden hacer descuentos para ese tipo de casos. Porque comoquiera no estaban dando el servicio como si estuviera remodelado

It was hard to rate this hotel because it was under renovations. Our accommodations were excellent. The breakfast everyday was delicious and a good variety between hot and cold options. The staff were all excellent, courteous and helpful. I would not hesitate to stay there again.

La habitacion esta muy bien amplia comoda limpia parece recien remodelada muy tranquila para descansar. El personal muy amable. El desayuno tiene huevo pan yogurt fruta.. pero puede mejorar.. el detalle que no me gusto fue que en mi ausencia entraron a mi habitacion a cambiar un mueble dnd yo tenia cosas de ropa y comida.. la movieron ellos sin decirme y cuando entre a la habitacion me dejaron cosas tiradas.. debieron pedirme permiso para entrar y mover y tocar mis cosas.. y aunque lo reporte.. nadie se disculpo ni nada
