遠方 Spa 飯店(Far Out Hotel & Spa)

La limpieza deberia mejorar, manchas en la ropa de cama, por el hueco de la puerta entran hojas y tierra, caminar descalzo se convierte en imposible. El baño es pequeño y la cortina de la ducha se te pega al cuerpo de forma desagradable. Desayuno escaso. Anuncian transfer gratuito y nos cobran al hacer el check out. Nos dicen que solo tienen disponible a las 7 de la mañana, accedemos y mientras esperamos 2 largas horas, vemos la furgoneta pasar varias veces. Realmente enfadada con esto.

Amazingly surprised. This is a gem hotel perfect for couples and solo travellers. Despite being a three stars hotel, this venue has all the premium amenities of a 4+ hotel. It overviews the bay and the free transfer allows you to reach the beach and their other clubs within few minutes. Rooms are clean, big and well kept.

Μείναμε στα πάνω πάνω δωμάτια της πλάγιας. Σου βγαίνει η γλώσσα να ανέβεις (δεν ενδείκνυνται για άνω των 60 ετών και σε κακή φυσική κατάσταση) αλλά σε αποζημιώνει η θέα. Άνετο δωμάτιο, minimal διακόσμηση, πολυ μικρό το μπάνιο. Εξαιρετικές οι κοπέλες στην υποδοχή, προσχαρες, βοήθησαν και απάντησαν σε όλες τις ερωτήσεις μας. Ικανοποιητικό το πρωινό αν και θα ήθελε κάτι extra. Πολύ καλός ο manager του ξενοδοχείου ο οποίος μας ξεναγησε στη σουίτα όπου μείναμε το τελευταίο βράδυ. Η σουίτα ήταν όνειρο. Αποφασίσαμε να περάσουμε την τελευταία μέρα αποκλειστικά εντός μιας και είχε τα πάντα και θέλαμε να ευχαριστηθουμε την πισίνα, τη θέα και τις ανέσεις της πολυτελούς σουίτας.

We’re staying currently at this lovely hotel. It’s only a few minutes’ walk from the superb Mylopotas Beach, and about 20 minutes’ walk from the very traditional main village Chora. From Chora, if you’re feeling energetic and have good shoes, you can hike the island’s main trails. We did a 16km loop today, taking in the superb Skarkos early Bronze Age archaeological site, Profitis Ilias Peak, and the Odysseas Elytis amphitheatre. Our room at the top of the hotel is clean and bright with a large private balcony, and there’s also a generous terrace at the pool bar. Friendly professional staff, a very relaxing vibe, and decent breakfasts and bar snacks offer everything we need.

It is a value-for-money hotel and apart from the excellent location, the staff is very professional and always by your side to help. All rooms have a sea view of the Gulf of Mylopotas and were always clean and with an updated design. Bus station just outside of the hotel you can quickly go to the beach or to Chora of Ios (for nightlife) or to the port.

The first night was very nice. We were allowed to check in early and had a beautiful room with a beautiful view. The room number was 26. First night was perfect, the room was clean and everything was great, the air conditioning unit worked beautifully. On the second night, we arrived to our room at 4:30 AM, exhausted, to find our bedroom infested with ants. Not a few ants on the floor, but everywhereeee on our bed and on and under our pillows 🤢. I would understand if we had open food in our room, but we did not. We called reception and someone came to see our room and saw how bad it was (you could see the look of despair on his face) and changed us to room 15. Upon going into that room, there were ants everywhere on the floor. We had to make the decision: sleep in a bed infested with ants, or sleep in a room with ants on the floor as there was apparently no other clean rooms available (which is very surprising as it was low season and most of the rooms were empty (facts as we could see at the reception which rooms were available and which rooms weren’t since you could see the keys)) We had no choice but to take the room with ants on the floor, air conditioning barely worked, stains on the bed and garbage from the previous person. It was not fun waking up in the morning with ants on our arms, especially when I hate and am absolutely disgusted with ants. At 10am we were told a new room would be ready for us and that we would have an upgraded and better room. We got room 5, which yes was beautiful and yes was an upgrade from room 15, but not an upgrade from room 26, as it was the same room, and the air conditioning was not working well. Unfortunately, the service and cleanliness declined throughout our stay. I have reached out to the hotel numerous times and keep getting ignored. It’s been 2 weeks and am still waiting for the hotel to respond back. As someone who has worked in the hotel industry for 5 years, never have we EVER ignored a client, especially when they’ve had a bad experience. Between that and Georgina’s passive-aggressive attitude, we are beyond disappointed. This is such a shame as day 1 was fabulous. Also, if you wake up passed 9AM, expect to have no breakfast. Definitely great views, but if you experience anything bad, you won’t get it resolved. Hoping to hear from the hotel at some point…

Great hotel! Nice location, only 5 min from the beach and 5-10 min by bus from Chora. The hotel offers amazing views of mylopotas beach and surrounding areas.

Spent a week here and if honest was disappointed in room it was not clean, it was dusty and grubby, and the bathroom plastic curtain needs binning the sink was dirty, I paid quite alot for this room and expected better. The cleaners sit on stairs watching stuff on their Phones and need to be careful what they say about females who walk past as I speak Greek and do not take kindly to being commented on. The bar man makes up the prices im sure and is not exactly the most friendly of people. Penelope front desk is lovely that's as far as I would go, one min staff say hi next min they walk past without looking. The young girl in breakfast room was rude to me one morning when I asked for a cup for ny coffee, she basically said wait, an never came back I went and got a coffee from the bar by pool but got charged. Would I return NO!
