德卡爾布飯店(Dekalb Hotel)

I believe its a family run hotel. I am a sucker for new hotels and liked the 5 star reviews in different sites. Also,  I wanted to stay away from the touristy Sulthanamet and Karakoy areas. The good: Asian side, less than a 5 minute walk to the Kadikoy Ferry Port. Brand new ( as of 2023). Small, only 27 rooms, great bed!. Owner, Oz was very hospitable, even walked me to the port. Hotel room was spotless! Helpful staff all over the hotel. I discovered a maze of shops, restaurants, cafes, kepab eateries etc where the locals hang out, right in yhe neighbourhood behind the hotel,  I ate my best meal of the trip in this area. The not so good: The hotel is great but just lacks something - it needs more character despite the luxurious facade that was attempted, if you get a sea facing room be aware that it gets pretty noisy on the road right in front of the hotel during the weekends. Entrance of hotel lacks curb appeal, I wouldn't call it luxury,  perhaps a very well done 3 star hotel at best. It'll be interesting to see how they evolve over time.

The best hotel in Kadikoy district. Hotel is middle of Kadikoy district, hotel gives you easy access all amenities, hundreds of restaurants close by. I can easily say that the hotel is cleanest hotel I have ever stayed. Hotel staffs are very friendly and extremally helpful. We were very lucky to get ocean view room.

I will start with that ( one of the best stays in my life), great reception and hospitality, friendly people who care about customers satisfaction in all aspects, you can notice that from the presence of the owner. Regarding the room ( clean, comfortable, luxurious feeling of the details) super view if you take sea view room Location -kadikoy ＞＞ (where you can deal with the friendly humble Turkish people Great value for room and location

Türkmenistan'dan gelen çok değerli aile büyüğümüz ve ailesi için rezerve ettiğim ve terçihimi bu otelden yana yaptığım için çok memnun kaldım. Temizlik, oda servisi, konfor, yerleşim-ulaşım ve mutfak kalitesi hepsine 10/10 verebilirim. One of the best hotel experiences I have had in my entire life. Staff were very friendly and extremely respectful and everyone (managers and owners included) went out of their way to make sure guests wanted for nothing.

Un gran hotel de lujo, muy buena atención del personal y muy espaciosas las habitaciones, gran lujo y detalles, realmente hace muy agradable la estadia, la limpieza perfecta, todo bien. Dan ganas de volver siempre y el precio adecuado, las camas muy confortables.

Great place to stay; clean, comfortable and helpful staff! Davut and Fatih are a credit to the team. Breakfast was delicious. Great power shower aswell.

Very comfortable and very clean.Magnificent sea view and in the city center. Friendly staff and good breakfasts. 10 full points. You can eat your meal by watching İstanbul from your room, you can sleep peacefully and comfortably. I advise.
