Sadly I only stayed in this elegant hotel for one night on my return home from an extended month in Europe. It is comfortable and very well located. My only quibble is the view from my balcony was not exactly beautiful as I stared straight into the ramshackle roof of a neighbourly building. The bar on the top floor is a must with a gorgeous view of the vibrant Bosporus. What really makes this place special is the warmth and sincerity of the staff. Rarely do I highlight individuals but Valeria on the front desk is a rich asset. She is friendly and hospitable to all and makes everyone feel welcome. So five stars for the hotel and six for Valeria!

Even before we arrived, the Orientbank Hotel was providing great service. I emailed with hotel staff in advance of our trip to arrange car service from the airport, and they were very helpful. Once we arrived, late at night after two long flights, we were greeted at the hotel with such warmth and care. While checking in, I mentioned that we were tired and hungry, as our second flight hadn't served any dinner, and the front desk team put together a bag of sandwiches and snacks for us to take with us to our room. It was such a kind gesture and totally indicative of the quality of service at this hotel. Everytime we came and went, the lobby team asked us how we were and if there was anything we needed. Doors were held open with a smile. I asked for advice on using a kiosk to buy an Istanbulkart, since we wanted to make the most of public transit, and the front desk staff walked me through the process in detail. Everyone here was just so very nice, in a way that felt genuine and lovely. Huge thanks to all of the staff at Orientbank Hotel -- you are all amazing! Our room was on the fourth floor and was generously sized and nicely decorated. Water was provided in the room, which I always appreciate. We were perfectly comfortable and slept very well. In the mornings, we took advantage of the amazing hotel breakfast. The Turkish Breakfast comes with an incredible amount of food, but it was all delicious and offered such a great array of choices. It felt really indulgent and special. We also had dinner at the hotel on our last night there, and it was delicious. Don't miss going up to the rooftop. The view is spectacular. I loved that this hotel was so convenient to every place we wanted to go. It's right around the corner from the Egyptian Market, and just beyond that you can get the tram or the ferry anywhere in Istanbul. We were so glad we chose this hotel, and it made our stay in Istanbul even more memorable. If returning to Istanbul, I would definitely stay here again.

Well, what can I say? This is an absolutely amazing hotel! From the moment we arrived we were transported back in time to an Agatha Christie novel! Such is the opulence of this amazing hotel. Situated in a lively street, not far from the very heart of this wonderful city, surrounded by architectural and historical delights – this hotel cannot fail to engender a feeling of opulence when one arrives at the portico. Entering this magnificent facade one is greeted by amazing staff members – all of whom are very knowledgeable in the history of the city and also very polite and helpful. Everyone spoke perfect English. The rooms are both interesting and comfortable. Ours had a very high ceiling with a plethora of architectural detail. The bed was extremely comfortable! The breakfast was absolutely stupendous – silver service attentiveness at every turn. I can’t recommend this hotel highly enough! If you are coming to Istanbul then this is the place to be. There is just one downside – the spiral staircase that transports guess to the elevated plateau above the chandelier lit dining area isn’t really suitable for anyone with mobility issues. Other than that enjoy.

We had a wonderful stay at the Mest Hotel and it was a fantastic location too. Our room was super clean and spacious too. The cleaner was such a lovely individual whom we thank a lot for their fantastic housekeeping. The staff were very attentive and so helpful whenever we needed anything. Particularly, we would like to thank Samed, Yunus, Sumeyye and the Technical personnel for making our stay very memorable. Also, a special thank you to Fatih for his guest relations and for giving us some great advice on navigating the city. Whenever we requested anything from reception, it was provided very quickly. The breakfast was brilliant, so much variety and the quality of the food was delicious and we had some breathtaking views of the Yeni Mosque in the mornings. The location itself was excellent, the hotel is tucked within a busy area of markets and bustle but no noise would come into the room. The hotel is also within walking distance of Sultanahmet, however, the hotel location itself had great shopping and dining options too. There were also bus and tram links nearby but I would recommend walking as much as you can to experience the city. I would HIGHLY recommend his hotel for anyone who is a first time visitor or like us who have come a few times. Very much looking forward to coming again and thank you to all the wonderful staff that made our stay so pleasant!

We had a wonderful experience at Grand Sirkeci Hotel. They were extremely accommodating and allowed us to check in early as we came from Singapore after a long 11hour flight. We got to hotel quite early. The location of the hotel was perfect for accessing market and restaurant. The front desk was really helpful, friendly and approachable. we would highly recommend the Grand Sirkeci Hotel for helping us have a wonderful experience in Istanbul. 這是一家很小的老酒店,電梯更小。房間雖然看起來很乾淨,但一有機會你會注意到一些問題,比如我打掃通風口,髒牙籤(你沒有使用),未清杯子等。有通知說衛生間地上不能掉水,前台不要費事打車或景點套餐,外面有便宜得多的選擇早餐很糟糕 - 早餐供應到10:30,不要指望在9:30後留下任何好的東西,他們不會重新填充。他們還在上午10:00開始清理。在吃之前檢查蔬菜和水果,因爲有些食物可能會腐爛。前一天的大部分剩菜都供應。在服務中沒有太多的選擇。每天供應炒雞蛋 - 有些日子沒有鹽,有些太多。不要忘記餐廳沒有人會說英語。不提供飲用水,所以這是你必須自己得到的東西。確保你攜帶驅蚊劑,因爲酒店的所有區域都有很多蚊子。所有人都說接待人員非常親切和有禮貌。最好是樓層高一點,這樣就可以避開吵鬧的街道。最好的部分是晚上不太吵。

Всем доброго времени суток, чтобы вы понимали уровень возмущения, это мой первый отзыв в жизни, к сожалению, он будет негативный. Итак, рассказываю по факту о пребывании в этом отеле. Сразу оговорюсь, что мы не из числа людей, которые придираются к мелочам, на многое можем закрыть глаза, но не в этот раз)) 1. Номер категории стандарт. Брали 2 номера, первый- для 1 человека, второй - для пары. В номере для двоих заранее просили отельные кровати через тур агента, но получили одну кровать небольшого размера. 2. Номера объективно грязные. Серые полотенца, грязные стены в пятнах, грязные шторы в затяжках, обои отклеиваются, накипь в чайнике. Первое время находится в номере было просто противно и неуютно. Просили поменять номер и через тур оператора (Пегас) и сами, сначала сказали, что поменяют, но в итоге ничего не сделали, «нет свободных номеров». 3. Персонал - это отельный разговор. Люди, которые работают на ресепшене, видимо проходили курсы хамства, вместо гостиничного дела. Разговаривают откровенно свысока и на негативе. Перебивают, сарказничают, ухмыляются. Делают все, только не решают проблемы. Такое видели в первый раз, ранее ругаться на английском не приходилось, надеюсь, больше такого опыта не будет. Остальной персонал хороший, касается только ресепшена. 4. Отдали вещи в стирку, через 2 дня их вернули в том же виде. Пятна от чая как были, так и остались, не думаю, что при стирке их так сложно вывести. Порошком не пахло вообще. Но самое смешное, что на ресепшене пытались убедить в том, что вещи стирали, при чем с наездами и ругачкой. Деньги сказали, что вернут, но вещи грязные, нервных клеток стало чуточку меньше, впечатление от отеля только ухудшилось. 5. Едем дальше. Некоторые номера выходят на трубу вытяжки или что-то подобное, жужжание целый день и ночь. Один из наших номеров выходили во внутренний двор со свалкой. 6. Еда. Завтраки на 3ку. Очень-очень скудный выбор, буквально 8-10 вариантов еды, но по вкусу нормально. Перекусить можно. Возможным плюсом для многих является местоположение в центре. Но как по мне, лучше жить подальше от центра, чем каждый день видеть грязь, попрошаек, людей, которые хотят вам что-то впарить. Плюс людей в этом районе очень много. Приехать сюда погулять один раз - ок. Но для жилья советую рассмотреть другие районы, вряд ли вы каждый день заходите смотреть на собор Софии и голубую мечеть. Что касается отеля, искренне советую подобрать другой вариант и внимательно изучать отзывы. Мы вот упустили этот момент и пожалели. Город красивый, интересный, хочется наслаждаться, а не тратить силы на ругань с персоналом. Всем хорошего отдыха, надеюсь, что отзыв был полезен ✌️ Прикрепляю фото доказательства)
