When I registered, I asked the desk clerk for a room on the 4th floor. She told me my room had already been assigned, and it was on the 3rd floor. I told her I am a light sleeper, and have a hard time with constant footsteps in the room above me. She would NOT give me an answer as to why she wouldn't assign me a room on the 4th floor.
When I started to set the alarm clock, it was unplugged.
I tried a dozen different ways to get it set, but realized it was broken. I called the front desk and told him I needed another clock. He told me I could leave a wake up call. Didn't offer to replace the alarm clock.
This is an older hotel with some new updates. It is close to several nice restaurants. In all probability, I would not stay here again. I would consider it a middle of the road hotel. I've stayed at much nicer HIX.
