Excellent location, super clean and comfortable

We had a great stay at this Courtyard. It’s a very short walk to the Mayo Clinic, the staff was great, rooms were clean, and the grounds are well kept. Rafael at the front desk was kind and accommodating.

Incredibly convenient to Mayo Clinic. Extremely expensive for the grade and condition of the property. Lady at the front desk was dismissive and acted like I was a bother when simply trying to check in (2/7/24 3pm eastern). The limited dining staff was outstanding and the food surprisingly good. After dinner, my wife stopped by a small table where guests could make themselves a hot chocolate. Water and marshmallows were there but the hot chocolate mix (container) was empty. My wife managed to be unfortunate enough to question the same front desk employee about getting more mix. The lady was wiping her mouth from presumably having a bite to eat (at the front desk?). She snapped back at my wife and said "it'll get refilled in a while". There were two people behind the desk and no customers being helped at the time. We soent the $350 for one night because of an early morning appoin**ent at Mayo. But at this price point Marriott is taking advantage of people who need to be close to the clinic. It's not a beach resort. It's a lower, mid-level hotel at best with higher mid-level food and beverage staff and service. At this price point I can spend a night on the beach or in a major city. Very disappointed, but it was necessary for the moment. Not recommended.

The main drawback is that the facility is dated. Carpets, fixtures, etc are dated. Needs some refreshing. It was clean and otherwise comfortable.

We had a terrible experience. We had a bunch of drunks stayed in the room next to us. They kept us up all night.

Staff is very accomodating to people who are going through a rough time.

Check in was not until 4:00 pm as stated and not a minute before. Although we were upgraded to a suite ( and I paid $ 350.00 ) breakfast was not included. Seemed like a bit of an older hotel but had many upgrades. Front lobby staff seemed a bit lacking with usually just one person helping.

If you have appoin**ents over at the mayo clinic, this is a good place to stay
