dos horas antes de llegar a registrarme vi un correo donde me decían que tenian problema con el agua y mi reservación estaba cancelada o la podia cambiar de fecha llame por telefono y solo dijeron lo sentimos, le dije dame una alternativa o ayudame y sin ninguna disposicion de ayudar solo dijeron que no podia hospedarme se me hace mucha coincidencia que en un viaje 2 hoteles Marriot tengan problema de agua y avisen de ultimo momnto vi el correo de casualidad estábamos viajando por las montañas , se me hicieron muy poco profesionales

Amazing place to stay. Pool is awesome. Great food and service. Well worth the price. Absolutely stay here! Only thing. Not the hotels fault. Beach is huge but the water isn’t clear. This is an amazing location and the pool area is perfect. Staff is super nice. Rental cars there. Marina. View of islands. Great service.

I felt like this property was a rip off from beginning to end. Everything is over priced and all of the taxes, resort fees, service fees, incidental fees, ad infinitum throughout the stay was ridiculous. All of the incidental charges were not explained at check in until my CC was charged. When asked to speak to a supervisor her response was "What do you want? Everything for free?" Very poor customer service and staff training. Would not go back.

Three main items of concern. Let me commence with the fact that this is my 6th visit to this property since 2011 and somewhat disappointing. Pool is in desperate need of renovation. As you swim, you will encounter missing concrete, calcium stained tiles, and general disrepair. Room AC is set to save energy/money...if you don't get staff to change background min/max settings the unit will never really get cool (can only get to these if you know how), they will have you in a warm room and hope you don't complain. Encountered two restaurant staff on two different days which were less than friendly and seemed "put out" to do their job. Also watch out for the timeshare sales folks, they call themselves "concierge" but when I asked them to perform customary concierge functions they explained they don't do that. Instead they try to convince you to hear a "presentation" and don't want to take "not interested" as an answer. All else was good.

Air conditioning was hot in the room. We called every day to let them know. They promised they would send someone to fix it and that manager would call us. The manager never called. They didn’t really show much care for us being hot. They did not offer to change our room. They were very indifferent about it. When I left I told everything to the manager. She apologized and was indifferent again. We gave up !

Recibimos muy mala bienvenida, no estaba la habitacion que habiamos reservado y nos la cambiaron por una categoria inferior cobrandonos lo mismo y culpandonos a nosotros, cuando el viaje estuvo confirmado y pudieron decir no tenemos lo que usted reservo y asi nosotros irnos a otro lugar para que pudieramos evitar malos momentos y tener la interaccion con el hotel como pesima la peor de todas nuestras experiencias de viajes.

Lovely hotel. We stayed here for one night on way to airport. Staff were excellent and friendly. Food was high quality. This is a big complex but maintained well and lovely to relax by the beautiful pool before our flight.

I had to wait over 2 hours to get my room after the front desk said it might be an hour. Poor lighting in the room. Friendly staff. Limited parking for golf carts and no charging station

The Los Sueños Marriott was the perfect location for my wife and I. The staff treated us like family, the rooms were comfortable and conveniently located. Several restaurant options gave us a variety of meals in addition to restaurants at the marina and on the beach. The swimming pool is huge with channels to explore; the beach is steps away with warm Costa Rican Pacific Ocean great for swimming. Los Sueños/Playa Herradura is a great home base for exploring Carara National Park, Manuel Antonio National Park, Marino Balleno National Park and Rainmaker platforms, waterfalls and pools. One additional note - no need to travel in search of scarlet Macaws, they are on the Marriott grounds! Los Sueños Marriott is now our go to resort when staying in Costa Rica.
