We booked the Ritz Jeddah after reading so many positive reviews. However, the start of our stay has been nothing but disappointment. Yes, it is a spectacular property but the service is definitely lacking. Example, 1. four hours after check in, I am still waiting for the rollaway bed for my son. 2. We arrived at the hotel at 10pm and the only option offered to feed my kids who wanted a snack was a buffet at approx. USD100 per person for food that has been lying there for 5 hours at least. No a la carte menu available. It is F1 week in Jeddah but not many people in yet, so this poor service has no excuse.
