萊斯登斯飯店(The Residence)

Wir waren für 1 Nacht im Penthouse untergebracht. Ich muss wirklich sagen, es war ein fantastischer Aufenthalt. Wir wurden am Flughafen abgeholt und konnten uns im Day Room frisch machen, da wir schon morgens ankamen. Schon alleine dieser Service ist top! Kein Warten in der Lobby bis das Zimmer fertig ist, sondern erstmal in ein tolles Zimmer einchecken mit Bett, Bad und allem drum und dran. Auch der Fahrer war super nett, gesprächig. Wir fühlten uns immer sicher. Insgesamt war der Staff super aufgeschlossen und wahnsinnig höflich. Und das Penthouse war der Höhepunkt. Sehr großzügig mit Terrasse und Whirlpool. Zusätzlich eine Sprudelwanne im Freien. Exzellent! Wir bekamen dann noch eine Fußmassage von den beiden sehr, sehr lieben Sothini und Thembie. Eigentlich wollten wir gar nicht mehr weg!!! Weiter so. 100%, nein 1000% Weiterempfehlung! Vielen Dank für den perfekten Aufenthalt in Johannesburg.

The Residence is one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed at! It is first class all the way. The Rooms are magnificent with balconies and wonderful views of the gardens and pool areas. The lounge area has a beautiful bar and wood-burning fireplace. The furniture was very comfortable as well The restaurant attached to the lounge had a wonderful breakfast buffet and full menu breakfast as well - included with the room price. The dinner was sensational with great service also. Located in the nearby suburbs of Johannesburg - close to Nelson Mandela's old residence. Due to Load Shedding the generators had to run quite frequently and they were a bit loud and smelled of diesel - but not in the residence itself - just in the parking area. During our 2-week trip to South Africa (and Zimbabwe) we had the pleasure of staying 2 nights at The Residence hotel in Johannesburg. It was wonderful! This is one of the nicest boutique hotels I've ever stayed at. The property is very safe, very clean, and (at least by our standards) luxurious. Our "room" was more of a suite, including a lovely bedroom, a large walk-in closet, a large bathroom with a tub and large shower, and (get this) a large, private outside area, complete with its own outside shower and hot tub. The food at the hotel restaurant was excellent. Everyone on the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. One of the highlights of our stay was the rides to dinner and then the airport the following morning in the hotel's 1999 Rolls Royce Silver Spur, driven by our wonderful driver, "Lucky." He, and the entire staff at The Residence, made my wife and myself feel quite lucky, indeed. The Residence has earned my highest, unqualified rating.

We had the most amazing two nights at the Residence Boutique Johannesburg. We travel frequently and place this on the top few hotels we’ve stayed at. The room, with a private, outdoor hot tub, was marvelous and the people were so friendly, especially Rambo and Lucky (I know it sounds like Vegas). The dining room food was good, t took a while (Africa time) but was fresh and there was a marvelous pianist during dinner. Just wonderful.

Super hôtel pour un stop à Johannesburg. Les chambres sont grandes , très bien décorées et fonctionnelles. Les repas sont très bons. Le staff est très professionnel et sympathique. Il n’y a que ies piscines/jacuzzi qui mériteraient d’être mieux nettoyées. Nous reviendrons !

The penthouse suite is magnificent. Service is good, but the highlight is definitely the hotel and the room itself. Location is secluded, which is good for privacy but if your looking to get out , rosebank area is better. But you cant go wrong staying here for sure.

La petite cour intérieure est tout simplement fantastique!! Je recommande pour un séjour tranquille et reposant :) Situé un peu loin du centre-ville. Le personnel est accueillant et attentionné. La nourriture est excellente.

Happy stay, staff will do extra miles. We stayed here for two nights as a transit from Madagascar. There are new Marriott and a few to choose but we would rather stay in a nice hotel than a business hotel although the latter is a safe choice to get all you expect to get. However, i am very happy to chose this hotel. Although it is a boutique hotel and has something that can improve (hot shower cannot last too long, toilet in the bar do not flush too well), the stay would make you happy. Room is very big and when you walk out, there’s a swimming pool and a jacuzzi. The deco is very nice , the place is quiet and peaceful. Staff are very nice and they really try their best to make your stay satisfied.

We stayed only 1 night at the Residence but it felt like more. First, we were able to check in 4 hours earlier which added precious time in the lovely suite we had booked. Second, the staff was very helpful organizing an amazing private tour with Marvin for the next day. We were able to visit Johannesburg and Soweto and learned more about South Africa’s history than visiting any museum. The stay was also our last day in SA and the staff reserved us a lovely table on the terrace for our final dinner before heading home.
