異居旅館(Wacky Stays - Unique Farm-Stay Glamping Rentals, Free Animal Feeding Tours)

This is not just accommodation but an experience! We stayed in a yurt, fed the farm animals and relaxed in the evening in our outdoor kitchen over a few drinks. The property has lots of options for type of room, from teepee to railway carriage, all with home comforts. Hosts were lovely, and the added bonus was getting up close and personal with the llamas.

This is a really unique accommodation glamping option in Kaikōura with nice staff on a working farm. We booked a tipi and it was spotlessly clean. Each option you choose (there's a range of amazing places to choose from including wagons, trains, yurts, cabins) comes with a outdoor kitchen and seperate toilet and shower with hot water. Breakfast for us was in the tipi, with coffee, tea, cereals, bread and farm eggs. The cool thing for us was you are on a working farm and can help feed the animals. Our daughter loved it. Definitely recommend this to my friends, and if i lived in NZ, id def book again. I think you have to remember you're glamping on a farm though, so you need to be prepared it's not a luxury hotel. (btw Also a good running route near here along the river).

Kevin to us are very friendly and accommodating. I could tell every piece of the wagon was thoughtful and well designed. The place was clean and we were treated with everything we needed. Not to mention staying in the wagon was one of a kind experience. The location isn’t too far away from kaikoura downtown. I would suggest you to join the llama trekking along with the stay

Stunning location for llama trekking, mountains are beautiful. 😁😁Kaikoura is a cool town. Tour guide gave good run down on the history of the area. funny humming llama named bluey. 😆 Stopped for a nice picnic. ⛰️🌄

Je vous recommande fortement d’aller là bas!! C’est très dépaysant, soit un wagon soit une calèche, soit une yourte soit un camion comme logement ! Vos enfants vont adorer! De plus on a donné à manger aux animaux de la ferme 2 fois par jour; les enfants ont aimé nourrir les lamas, alpagas, cochons et même 2 petits bambis !!!!!

It was great to step away from the busy centre of Kaikoura and escape to the tranquil setting of Wacky Stays. Lovely to be able to meet the animals at twice daily feeding and to have space to unwind and enjoy some down time.

Awesome stay, very comfy and clean. Unique experience, recommend feeding the animals in the morning.

This is a great location a few KMs from Kaikoura. We wanted quiet and we got it. Set in lovely ground kept by the family it was simply lovely. The farm cottage is old but that is part of the experience the floors are uneven some doors you have bend a little to get in. This simply reflects the different eras in which additions or repairs where done. this cottage can sleep around 8 people comfortably (I am allowing for the couch as well). Great water pressure, big lawn for the kids or maybe you could bring the caravan for a fee and park up with the rest of the family the outdoor space is wonderful. The stove worked perfectly, outdoor BBQ and Pizza oven, things for the kids to do including long necked sheep sorry Llama's or similar. The person welcoming us was excellent Kevin (owner) gave us a good rundown. I really enjoyed this site while it is not new it is definitely comfortable and great for a family or group of friends
