We had a a great stay at Kaikoura Motor Inn. It is a bit out of town but we had a car so not a problem. The furnishings are basic but clean and comfortable. Bed was comfy but a bit soft for me. Good kitchen with everything you need. Fairly spacious unit and I think great value for a 2 bed apartment.

All is good. We are four persons without a car and plan to hike in the South Bay of Kaikoura. It is difficult to take a taxi at that time and worried about our that day trip. The boss of this hotel is very nice and ride us to view Sightseeing and send us to hiking place. I am very appreciate and feel so warm in New Zealand. Recommend to stay.

All the info in the unit re activities and dining are years out of date. No breakfast available either. No staff apparently . Things like that should be kept up todate.

A reasonable good value for money stay in Kaikoura. This is an older complex but it has been refurbished and was spotlessly clean . The operators were friendly and helpful .
I would stay here again .

Affordable, clean and so so warm!! The bed was comfy and the shower was amazing!!! Was also nice and quiet. Will definitely choose again when back in kaikoura !!!
