埃蘇里亞別墅(Athulya Villas, Kandy)

Ho letto le recensioni negative sulla struttura motivate dal fatto che la struttura sia lontana da Kandy e sinceramente non capisco come nel 2023 con il mondo a portata di telefono tra un social e l'altro non si abbia neanche il tempo di vedere dove sia locata esattamente la struttura e quanto ci si impieghi ad arrivare a Kandy, è normale che se volete stare a Kandy città questo posto non fa per voi e la cosa è facilmente constatabile spendendo due minuti su maps invece che su Instagram. Noi che appunto non volevamo stare nel caos cittadino abbiamo scelto questa struttura e le nostre attese non state tradite, posto fantastico immerso nel verde circondato da piantagioni di thè e da una varietà di alberi da frutto e non di ogni tipo. Lasciatevi guidare dal gestore della struttura che vi spiegherà i diversi tipi di piante e alberi e non solo perché la gentilezza e la disponibilità dello staff e quasi spiazzante come del resto lo è quella di tutto il popolo cingalese. C'è anche la possibilità di cenare in loco facendo sapere in anticipo le pietanze desiderate dal menù Quindi che dire se volete stare a contatto con la natura fuori dal caoticità di Kandy questo è il posto che fa per voi.

We stayed two days during our honeymoon in this hotel and we had an excellent experience! The accomodation was perfect, with lovely autonomous rooms, great looking swimming pools, and very pleasant stuff. The food was very tasty and relatively cheap. The power cuts were not a problem as there was a working generator and we had no issue at all. Strongly suggested!

This hotel is privately owned by the family that originally owned the home and adjacent tea plantation. The cottages were private and it was a real treat to have our meals brought to our patio. It was our feeling that the staff were well looked after as they were soooo excellent. There were often little surprises with the birds and they took time to point out the fauna. The two person jacuzzi bath was pretty fun! It is a shame that there was a short time that a foreigner owned the hotel and he started to build an ugly two story building. We understand the current owners are going to destroy this building and return the hotel to the cottage charm. We ended up here by chance when another hotel didn’t work but it was certainly a highlight of our holiday.

Prachtige villa nog in vrijwel originele staat met Prachtige tuin en zwembad. Het personeel is erg vriendelijk en doet erg zijn best om de gasten naar de zin te maken. Leuk dat we uitleg kregen over bijzondere bomen en planten uit de tuin.

What an excellent and beautiful place to stay!!!!!! It is a quiet hotel with such an amazing view. You feel great and welcome also because the friendly staff. At the end of the day sitting with a GT on the veranda you feel…………this is the perfect holiday. We stayed 2 days and enjoyed the incredibly food as well the services

Nice location - with stunning views and fairly close to Kandy. Service was excellent as was the food - nice mix of local and western food. Let down by the quality of the rooms - really needs to be renovated.
