凱瑟琳汽車旅館(Katherine Motel)

We stayed only for one night but this was the second time we stayed in this motel. Last time in 2019 was for three nights. Really nothing wrong with the motel; all basic facilities are provided. You have attached bathroom, parking space (not undercover), swimming pool, aircondition, free wifi etc. It's a well-maintained and clean facility. However, the last minute deal was very expensive for us; probably also because the Katherine show was going on while we travelled.

Stayed two nights, clean, up to date, everything in working order. Lucky enough to get a park within the gates at night. The only thing we didn't like is that there are signs everywhere stating no smoking and a worker staying there was next door smoking outside his room and we could smell the smoke in our room. Second time we let him know we could smell it he apologised and walked away. Then another guy smoking beside his car we could smell also. I think they need to have a dedicated spot for smoking instead of just a suggestion of smoking in car park or outside gates. This needs to be policed a bit better. Cause Smoking Stinks!! And not good for asthmatics.. Other than that, staff very friendly, no noise. beds comfortable, nice biscuits supplied for a cuppa. Would stay again.

This motel is spotless clean , rooms are newly renovated and beds so comfy! New tv, fridge and cool a/c. Owners are generous and friendly. Highly recommend this motel. Disregard some of the false negative reviews as there is competition in this small township and most negative comments aren’t genuine .

We were looked after very well by Prem. The room was great & very clean. It is a traditional motel near the Central Business District. There is an open-air “camp kitchen” which was very helpful. We were able to wash & dry all our clothes after camping in Kakadu for a week. Tracy & Steve

Based on being in Katherine where options are limited it’s suits the purpose. Bed was comfy, shower was hot, towels were as thick as grandpas hankie. It’s basic but nobody goes to Katherine seeking luxury. We’d stay again. We were disappointed Kirby’s bar was closed would have liked a sneak peak into that gem.

It’s by no means flash but clean, great location and the best beds we’ve slept in for a long while. The motel is centrally located near the shops and entertainment. Yogi, the manager is quite possibly one of the nicest and obliging people you’re likely to meet. Great value and we would definitely recommend it to anyone travelling to Katherine.

Very overpriced for a basic room that desperately needs an update and a deep clean. Shower so dirty I did not want to stand on it. Staff not very accommodating to our needs and didn’t go out of their way to help us, just gave us the option of paying $300 for another room - ridiculous.

Very basic rooms, very noisy At around $200 a night very expensive for what was offered.

The hotel is in the middle of town which makes it close to amenities. It is currently undergoing renovation and once all the rooms are completed they will be better than before.
