An average hotel but overpriced look location was ok….food was ok but room service was good their jhol momo was best

We were looking for a quiet hotel in Thamel. Almost impossible , as this area is in constant expansion. The Kathmandu Grand Hotel is well located and the staff very friendly and helpful. We were given rooms on the top floor with a nice rooftop terrace. Hot showers, comfy rooms, good value, great service

It was very nice experience. They provided us room before check in time and their reception staff Sia was very helpful. Room and room service was excellent. Food was also very nice. Service in restaurant also very nice. Overall gr8 experience. Next time I will also stay here.

WORST WORST WORST This hotel is the worst one... Staff are terrible and specially the manager, house keeping manager and other higher officialls of the hotel.... i went with family and mistakenly i forgot my watch in room No.214 on 29/11/2023 and on the same day 29/11/2023 i informed them to check into my room but they didn’t check and not informed..after that on 02/12/2023 i come again to the hotel to check the same.. rooms are worst quality...only reason to book is its proximity to Airport.. otherwise guys don't book this hotel at all...even the wifi is worst...

The Grand Hotel was fantastic, I felt very welcomed when I was on vacation in Nepal and the room was great! From my room you could see the surrounding mountains to Kathmandu valley as well as from the top floor restaurant. Breakfast was very good each morning and the restaurant staff were excellent. The housekeeping team was ready to assist me with their services especially Mrs Ranjita was always available with her best team.I highly recommend the Grand Hotel Kathmandu, brilliant.

This hotel did not live up to my standards. The room as cold and they could not turn on the heat, we saw some bugs which made me sleep with the lights on. The furniture and flooring have not been updated in many years. The staff were rude, and when we went to check out, the front desk agent questioned my decision until I finally said good bye. Breakfast in the morning was marginal at best and the coffee not drinkable. Wish I had something nice to say about this hotel, but I don't. They need to update and fumigate!

Grand hotel justifies it's name to be Grand in every aspect of Hospitality, they have been an amazing host for our entire group stay from near and clean rooms to delicious food in table...thank you so much team for putting all the efforts to make our stay comfortable

Our overall trip to nepal was improved by Hotel Grand. All facilities were provided happily and were fast as well. We had a great time. They helped us to know places to visit as well as helped in finding means to visit different places.

The Biotique products were great! Room service was quick.
