珠峰飯店(The Everest Hotel)

Nice Old Hotel, Great Staff with few needs to improve. Swimming pool is totally disappoin**ent. Better to shut down, than keep running and not swimmable, waist of energy. The water is dirty, no star at all. The lobby, the room and Ghurka bar are still great. 2 power shutdowns in 1 day, I believe they are struggling with power shortages due to dark lounges. Breakfast was so so, coffee or tea should be not a challenge to serve first, sometimes took half of meal before they come. Many Tables are not stable and aligned, egg can easily roll over to other side. Atleast 3 tables on my experience. Room is comfortable, nice bed and always fresh linen. Only noisy from AC , maintenance team came twice on my room to fix, though transfer was offered on my last 2 days. Managers should not standing in buffet line, either they should help the line staffs or directing the team, talking business in public is not of our guests concern. Front desk Trainee, has good presence, I thought first he is manager. A lot can be improved and polished, the hotel has a great potential, nice design, great facilities and great staffs. I wish that management should look all themselves and review those small details.

Front counter staff members are friendly, helpful and cooperative particularly Avishek (if I remember correctly his name) was fantastic and exceptional customer service. I should mention Salim who cleaned our room was very very polite, friendly and helpful. The room is big but the down size is the shower over bath. Bath tub is tiny and water does not go down to the drainage pipe caused water clogged. The breakfast items were limited and does not reflect five star standard. However the General Manger should look the breakfast menu by himself and should take appropriate action.

Hotel stay was excellent. Big and spaces room. Breakfast lunch and dinner was great very delicious and enjoyed all the food. Easy transportation and alot of attractions places for tourists . The hotel staff was excellent and served us fast and efficiently. I would like to compliment Mr.Dipak Bist and Miss Yasodha for their excellent fast and efficient services. They went on extra miles to served us .Keep up the good work. Well done.

Very happy with my stay. All of the staff I encountered was super friendly and polite. Hostess Samrina was very kind. The room is big and clean, and has everything I need. The breakfast and dinner is very good (high quality), a lot of vegetarian options. I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

We had a training planned for 4 days, shared all our plans agenda and schedule and concerns with the sales team!! We specifically mentioned that we hav program from 8 and no food in the training hall, wanted to hav lunch in the cafe!! She confirmed everything! The day of event we hav our guest participants at the door but the hall was not open!! There was No communication between operations and sales team! And We had to had a long long discussions with operations team just get what was promised in the start! Very very frustrating! However, the waiter was helpful throughout!!he was all rounder I believe!
