This time that I stayed, there was not the best room. This is my fourth time staying there and the last trip I got to stay in the remodeled rooms which were great. This last trip. I stayed in the older one and the room was pretty stinky smelling like mildew, but it was just for one night

I enjoyed every moment there with my boyfriend. Restaurants are walking distance and you can also use bikes if needed. I enjoyed walking to the nearest beach and definitely wouldn't mind visiting back.

We booked this hotel because it was close to friends we werer visiting. There's nothing special about the place. For us it was just a bed. We had breakfast at the restaurant one morning and it too was just fine.

We loved our time at Kauai Shores Hotel. The on-site restaurant was delicious and the location is central to pretty much everything. This is an affordable and very comfortable option if you want a smaller-resort, ‘boutique hotel’ feel. When we were there, KSH had live music every afternoon/evening at Lava Lava Beach Club. We definitely felt like it was a great home away from home. We will be back and hope to bring the entire family. :)

I liked this resort/hotel really cozy and right on the beach
I would like a better bed , the one we had was not comfortable had to many lumps
And one of the staff members wasn’t that friendly.. I don’t think he should be working there.. he had the same attitude every day
He was the only black guy working there.

Dear Sir or Madam: We (my boyfriend and I) were given a ground-floor room with a "view" of the storage area where employees walk back and forth. Hence, we could not leave our curtains open or the screen door at night. In addition, the bathroom was too small for two people and it looked like a bathroom for a studio apartment. I was extremely disappointed.

Kauai Shires is a gem! We absolutely loved the place. We stayed eight nights in a pool view room. The property is gorgeous, the location convenient to all parts of the island, restaurant is good, staff is good - awesome stay. We would definitely stay here again. I would say that the value of this place is amazing in comparison to what you would pay at the big name resorts. Best deal/ location/ place we’ve stayed on Kauai!!
