凱米斯堪迪飯店(Scandic Kemi)

Come da titolo della recensione ho usufruito dei suddetti servizi in questo hotel, in quanto Kemi rappresentava la prima tappa del mio viaggio e devo dire che ho trovato tutto molto buono. La struttura si presenta piuttosto vecchiotta ma tenuta in maniera assolutamente dignitosa, le stanze si presentano confortevoli e funzionali, carini anche gli ambienti comuni in particolare la sala dove abbiamo cenato. L'offerta di cibo, sia a cena che a colazione, è stata soddisfacente per qualità e quantità. Personale gentile e disponibile. Sicuramente una buona soluzione se si è a Kemi sia di passaggio che per qualche giorno.

This former Cumulus Hotel has quite outdated decor, especially in the rooms. The senior rate for a standard room was very affordable, 94 euros. For our date, the normal price would have been around 180 euros which is absolutely too much for what you get. At the moment, there is a high demand for rooms because the hotel accommodates workers who are building the new forest factory. As my partner is a Scandic TOP Level member, we got an upgrade to a standard family three room and a 15-euro restaurant voucher. Also, a nice welcome gift was waiting on the table and we got a complimentary late check-out at 16:00. It was nice because we had a flight leaving at 20:20. Our room was practical. There were plenty of power outlets. The biggest problem was the lack of air conditioning. Although the outside temperature was around +10 and we kept the window open, the inside temperature didn't drop under +24. There was an empty minibar which was practical. There is a big grocery store located behind the hotel. We missed coffee-making facilities. Most Scandics in Finland have them also in standard rooms. The breakfast was excellent. It was pleasantly calm at 9:00 because all the workers had already gone to work. The well-kept buffet had a wide selection of food. The reception staff was very friendly.

Para ser considerado um hotel de 4 estrelas têm muito que melhorar quer a nível hoteleiro quer da restauração. Hotel muito pouco acolhedor, talvez por ser muito usado por operadores turísticos em circuitos de grupo. A comida é muito fraca quer a nível de confecção quer de qualidade. Os quartos são frios e com pouco conforto. Não recomendo!

I will come back this hotel. I know this and we are sleeping that hotel, but names is Cumulus Kemi. Future we stop again this hotel. Kemi it`s beautiful city and many year they build snowcastle. And near you can to visit Sweden (Haparanda)

as always, this Scandic hotel is excellent. the rooms are bright, clean and some have a sauna in the room. the breakfast buffet is large and there are also gluten-free and vegan alternatives. highly recommended. Friendly staff. Unfortunately, the restaurant was closed on Sunday but we were suggested some options where to eat. thanks for that.
