Atmosphere: This is definitely a hip hotel for those looking to socialize with the locals. The lobby was extremely noisy and busy on Friday & Saturday night, as apparently this is the spot that many people come to on dates, looking for a possible link up, and/or parties. Although I really liked this hotel, I would not suggest this location for a family oriented atmosphere. Staff and amenities: The staff was absolutely wonderful and their rooms were clean and nicely decorated.! Dining options: They have a Starbucks on site, which was great, and a pretty good selection on the menu. However, do not look for fast service on a Friday evening, as it is packed! The cocktails were mediocre, but luckily not overpriced. The breakfast buffet was pretty good - Continental breakfast and local cuisine.

Hotel restaurant is open to the public. A few times no guests asked me to scan my room pass so they can access elevator, I said no. During weekends & at night there should be security to ensure safety. The elevator was broken & we got stuck a few times. We were stuck for more than five minutes each time. Power completely off & it’s pitch dark inside we kept running ringing alarm & nothing. I complain and issue was not resolved. This hotel is too busy.

I would recommend this property for its convenience pretty close to everything but I wouldn't suggest walking the area because it is a very high-traffic area. The staff was very friendly and nice the property was very clean, especially our room, and our privacy signs were obeyed (smile). when the bar is closed you can get liquor from the front desk if you feel like drinking all night (smile). the elevators are spacious. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Kingston who needs a nice friendly place to stay.

I like the location , the artistry , color and ambience of the lobby. The lobby felt inviting .Staff members were courteous and pleasant . My room was clean every day . Even when I had parking issues since the hotel had events the gentlemen who opens door for guest was helpful. Only issue I had was parking for guest staying . My suggestion the lower level parking should be prioritized for guest staying especially with young ones and elder but overall I had a great time with my family . My daughter enjoy the pool and even develop friendships with other young guesses.

This would have been a perfect hotel experience if the hotel offered room service. I didnt like having to go downstairs for food at night. Especially seeing that the hotel lounge caters to non-guests. The environment forces guest to have to dress to accomodate visitors and not stay comfortable. Room Service would have made this a 10/10 experience.

Imagine making a caeser salad with tomatoes and no romaine. You can dress up a trash hotel to make it as posh as you want, but it is still trash. Slow elevators, slow card readers, painfully loud music, noisy partiers in hallways late at night, terrible food featuring very little Jamaican food, maze-like parkade blocked off with pylons for no reason, guards get mad if you move the pylons to be able to enter the parkade, staff yell at you and the taxi driver to move or hurry and when you are unloading, staff insist incessantly you let them hold the door. Electrical work in the middle of the restaurant area without any delineation, waiting 15min to put you bags in a room 5' away from you because the staff don't want to let you step inside the door, missing bolts in elevator allowing front panel to be pulled off. Quarantined for two weeks and had to remind the staff every single day that I had Covid and would need room service while the nurse would alternate between powercalling me and not contacting me for multiple days in a row. Coworker suspects that the staff here steal Marriott points, as they made multiple mistakes in assigning him points and lying on how the system works. Coworker's phone was stolen from the washroom by the girlfriend of a member of the security staff from the US embassy. The only positive was one of the restaurant hostesses who was both skilled and kind, I unfortunately never caught her name to commend her. Do not stay at this property.
