艾富力維克度假屋(Efri-Vík Bungalows)

The bungalows are super old, with broken planks, they are just past their glory. We were located next to the bungalows that were pictured, which were a little bigger but even older. The lady at the front desk was super nice and gave us the option to see another bungalow, but we didn't see much improvement. The hotel itself looks nice, but the upkeep is lacking. A lot of groups with busses were staying, so it was a ZOO!!! In the hallways, in the restaurant (only buffet) and with breakfast (buffet). We will not stay here anymore because of the unclean and old cabin, and the food in buffet style that was ransacked in a matter of minutes. The positive is that the staff was super nice and we made a very nice walk after dinner behind the property around a lake.

Petit cabanon plutôt bien équipé mais un peu vieux. Partie chambre et entrée : bien. Partie SDB : pas terrible mais cela fait le travail. Pas de wifi dans le cabanon. Pas de cuisine commune (juste une bouilloire dans la chambre). Très bon emplacement cependant. Rapport qualité prix un peu cher.

Cabin was fairly good, comfortable and clean, although bathroom could be refurbished soon. Breakfast was good, although a bit crowded and staff not very helpful. The worst is that I forgot a phone charger in my room and called shortly after leaving asking for help, as I didn’t have another. Was worried because I had everything on my phone (plane ticket etc). Reception lady (that didn’t sound helpful) said that she would ask the cleaner that was at the room as we spoke, and would called me back. She never did. When I called again she said that there was nothing left in the room. Clearly they kept my charger and were unwilling to help even when I explained my situation. Very bad experience! Avoid this place, the staff is terrible and unhelpful.

Nous avons réservé les cabines. Très minimalistes. Lit et cadres de porte trop petits pour une personne de plus de 6 pieds. Mériterait d’être ventilé à l’occasion car une odeur de vieux bois humide flottait. Le déjeuner inclus par contre était délicieux et varié.

Very old bungalow by the side of the Laki Hotel. To start: there’s no sign on the road indicating Vik bungalows, only Laki Hotel. The bungalows look like abandoned: full of cobwebs and spiders, dirty outside and inside and the bathroom is nothing but terrible. To complete this unpleasant experience the hot water didn’t work in my bungalow, I had to take a cold shower in Iceland! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED. Look like they forgot about the bungalows and only care about the hotel, but if this is the truth, why are they still reserving the bungalows for guests? And don’t expect wi-fi as well. Anyway, the only good experience was the breakfast.

Il n'y avait pas d'internet dans les bungalows malgré ce qui était annoncé sur le site. Je l'ai signalé à la réception. Ils m'ont répondu qu'ils allaient changer cette information sur le site. Je viens de vérifier 8 jours après: ce n'est toujours pas fait.

Molto suggestivo dormire in un bungalow immerso nella natura! La mattina colazione abbondante e variegata. Consigliato!

Des mobil homes très cosy, surtout celui avec la kitchenette, qui a un espace salon avec la possibilité de prendre ses repas. Le deuxième Mobil home disposait de 2 lits jumeaux et des sanitaires privés, ce qu'il faut pour dormir. Endroit très calme et accueillant. Excellent petit déjeuner, qui est réapprovisionné au fur et à mesure, il y a même des fruits. Personnel accueillant et réactif, je recommande cet hôtel avec ses mobil homes car il est très situé pour visiter Vik et Skaftafell
