薩巴伊灣度假村(Sabaii Bay Resort)

Super relaxte sfeer met lieve mensen die het je naar de zin willen maken. Je kunt er een scooter huren, suppen en al het eten dat je hier kan krijgen is echt super goed! Lieve hondjes op het terrein en een mooi zwembad met infinity pool, uitkijkend op de zee. Wat wil je nog meer?

Nous venons d'y passer 10 jours et c'était génial ! La presta est top. J'ai fait différents hôtels à Samui à 5x le prix de Sabbai Bay Resort, mais c'est à Sabbay Bay que je retournerai ! On s'y sent vraiment bien. Nous sommes 17 amis et famille à nous être retrouvés sur place. Chacun avait son bungalow. Les chambres sont simples avec un grand lit, 1 sdb et 1 petite terrasse, largement suffisant pour dormir et se changer. C'est l'espace extérieur qui est grand et beau. En groupe, c'était top. Chacun pouvait prendre son petit déjeuner ou repas de midi à son heure, le déguster au choix sur la plage à l'ombre, à l'espace restauration, ou au bar de la plage. Chacun son intimité et rendez-vous à la plage ou à la piscine, avec des hamacs, fauteuils de plage et super hamacs ronds, Je vous glisserai les photos. Il y a de l'espace pour tous. La nourriture est excellente. On y a pris des petits-dej délicieux et aussi les repas de midi. Pas eu le temps de tout goûter, donc un super choix. Vous pouvez y manger à toute heure. Le jardin est superbe, les bungalows sont entourés de végétation, ce qui est apprécié étant donné la chaleur. Au passage, tout est entretenu chaque jour avec amour et ça se sent. Il y règne une atmosphère relaxante et les personnes qui y travaillent sont aux petits soins avec vous et vraiment super sympa. C'est ça le must : l'atmosphère paisible, la plage et le jardin, l'accueil et la gentillesse des gens. Vous pouvez leur demander des conseils sur tout, des spots à visiter, aux bons plans, ils sont adorables. Il suffit de demander. Prenez leur taxi, ils sont au bon prix. Et aussi, il y a un grand espace de co-working et une salle de musculation impressionnante et vous allez adorer marcher sur la plage pour assister au spectacle des couchers de soleil. Il y a un petit banc de sable qui s'avance sur la mer (le soir c'est marrée basse) et vous avez la sensation de marcher sur l'eau. En bref, j'y retournerai pour cette atmosphère de paix, de liberté, de détente, d'espace et l'accueil. Je suis allée m'installer sur la plage chaque soir après nos sorties, pour écouter les vagues, et regarder le ciel, des moments de pure détente avec toujours ce vent agréable du bord de mer. Service, customer service, client oriented? It is not about this place. It is more how to make more money anyway. When u order a room and expect to have it, do not rush… it will be a random on the place during the check-in… they will give u a free room, even if it don’t look like u pay for… even lower level… The staff and manager was not friendly, they don’t want to find a compromise, to help… just 1 position and that’s all… The hotel is avg., and bc of that overpriced (ok, if u lucky and nice room/bungalow will be free, congrats! But better to choose another place). … we even didn’t have a hand towels, fridge (it was on the pics), and many many things but who cares?😄 Btw we had a Superior bungalow! Not recommended this place, never again…

this resort is not what it looks like on the pictures. the bungalows were very small and dirty. bugs were able to get in through the night and i woke up covered in mosquito bites and ants. not to mention there was cockroaches all over the bathroom. we were meant to stay 3 nights and left after the 1st night it was unbearable. there is also a 6 week old kitten in a small cage constantly crying at reception and is so hungry. when you pet the wee thing she is purely skin and bones. i really wanted to take her with me, felt awful for the wee thing :( treat your animals better and feed your kitten. it is by itself 24 hours in that cage with no attention or proper care. disgusting treatment. we were not offered any money back despite our room being infested with cockroaches and not up to proper hygiene standards.

This is my second time staying at Sabaii Bay. It is my favorite resort in Thailand. It’s a small family run resort that is a bit secluded yet within blocks of the main road. The service is wonderful and personal. Right on the beach with a wonderful infinity pool. I hope to get back soon.

Good location, quiet and peaceful, a short walk away from Thong Sala. There are a few restaurants nearby and a big MC supermarket. The beach is wonderful but not good for swimming. The simple bungalows with sweeping views of the sea. It features a private beach area and restaurant. Free Wi-Fi and parking are provided. The staff was super friendly and the property was breathtaking!! A great swimming pool and an amazing beach bar. Good option if you rent a bike and go around the island. The pool and the area itself were almost luxurious (especially for this price!) and extremely clean. The room is spacious and well lighted and the4 balcony feels comfortable and relaxing. Overall, i happy with my stay.

The worst experience I had ever. The worst of the worst hotel ever. I’ve been travelling so many places but this is the worst hotel. I found 100 bugs in my room on my 4th night(staying here for 5 nights) so I went to the reception and asked to change the room. But the rooms were full so I couldn’t change it. But the Thai woman (owner’s wife)at the desk told me there will be one room available next day so I can change the room with 200ish TBH extra because the room is better than the one I stay. So next morning, I packed my luggage and checked out the room and then one of the staffs (guy) told me the family who is staying the room extended their room this morning so now I can’t change the room but we have another room but I have to pay 1500THB because the room is better and higher price. Or I have to stay the same room I was sleeping. It’s ridiculous! I told the woman last night and she said I can change the room at 13:00 today but now I can’t. I hate it so much. I will never come back to this place and I won’t recommend this place to any of my friends. Tell my friends to book another hotel. The room or building is also so old and smells bad. Maybe because of COVID that there has not been in any guests. No one had been using the room for two years. I don’t know. I also saw so many ants and big spider in my room but it was fine. But I just couldn’t bear with the 100 weird bugs in my room. After I wrote this review above. I wanted to ask for the transfer to the pier from the hotel. So I went to the reception. Then that Thai woman just read my review on google so she was so mad and so angry and started shouting at me and swearing so many times, using F word. I couldn’t believe it. She said she never promised me that I could have the new room so I am a liar to write the review. She just kept shouting and losing her temper even I said to her to calm down but just shouting and never listened to me. She threatened me that she won’t take me to the ferry pier. And her husband (owner, Swedish guy) was there so I really thought he could help me. But instead he just said I had to talk to his wife instead of explaining to him what happened and so he doesn’t know anything. I was wrong that I thought he could help me. And also he told me they will never do the drop-off service. I couldn’t believe this. Really not professional at all. They just want to make money but they never care about the guests. Thai wife, never stopped shouting at me. She got a cushion from the couch and threw it so hard to the floor. This moment I felt really it’s dangerous and super uncomfortable and I just decided to leave this horrible place ASAP. Thai wife was crazy and she is mental. I think she is super unfriendly and she has a big problem on her mental part. I am from Japan and now I really think I am so lucky to be born in Japan because it’ll never happen like this thing in Japan. We respect our guests from bottom of our heart. This place was super great. Absolutely fantastic location. Nice owners and staff, good food. A fantastic swimming pool, simply must be experienced. Highly recommend this place. Not far from the ferry dock, about 10 minutes by taxi. On Fridays there is a barbecue party with free food, but you have to pay for drinks.
